CROCHET PATTERNS FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

Cash gift as Christmas decoration

Even Santa has laundry day sometimes and really doesn’t feel like wrapping presents, so this year there’ll be money or gift certificates from his gift sack.

After the sack has been emptied, everything can still be used as funny decor.

More info and the pattern are available here

The pattern is great for beginners and is written without abbreviations; leftover yarn is enough to make it.

A funny Christmas ornament or a great little gift to bring along.

You can find the Big-Bärbel pattern here

Made from leftover yarn, she can be quickly recreated even by beginners; the pattern is written without abbreviations and currently has a 20% discount.

Isn't this a lovely Santa?
You can easily crochet him from red and skin-colored cotton and a little white fluffy yarn. But that's not all! Santa has a surprise hidden in his belly:

Turn him inside out and you'll have a cute Easter bunny!
For that you'll also need brown and light green cotton and
of course this pattern!!!

The little moose also looks great on an Advent wreath or a St. Nicholas gift bag! You can crochet it in no time from a few bits of leftover yarn. It’s super easy!
After Christmas, it’ll accompany you as a keychain.

Now it really is high time to start making Advent calendars – they still need to be filled, after all! So quickly buy some paper, print out the templates, and get started!

This Advent calendar is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm. The individual boxes measure approx. 4.5 x 4.5 x 7.8 cm. They are glued in only one spot and otherwise held together with the tuck-in tabs. The calendar is very easy to make and is also suitable for craft beginners.

If you're looking for an Advent wreath without candles, here's a new idea for you: with LED lights, the 4 snowmen are an eye-catcher as an Advent wreath or as decoration, and not just for Christmas. Or if you're looking for a small gift to bring along or a Christmas gift, the 4 friends are perfect for that too.

and a tip: try filling the little animals with an LED tea light,
a lovely decor idea, e.g. after the Advent calendar

For each of these 24 little pouches, you’ll only need 8 gr. of inexpensive acrylic yarn. So you can easily use up your leftover yarn and crochet one pouch at a time. This is also a great project to work on while commuting to work on the train. If you start right away, you’ll finish your colorful Advent calendar just in time for December 1.

The crochet pattern also includes a printable template for the 24 red stars. You’ll find all other details on the title page of the pattern.

Warm regards—Ina

P.S. After Christmas comes Easter. You can use these little bags for your Easter table ;-) Isn’t that clever? Each guest gets a filled bag placed at their seat as a table decoration.

With this pattern, you’ll soon have conjured up an entire Christmas fairy-tale forest with your knitting needles – and of course Santa Claus can’t be missing either. Match the colors to your home décor to create a wonderful decoration. After all, the trees don’t always have to be green or turquoise. Why not ... hmmm ... purple? ;-)
Wishing you happy crafting!

St. Nicholas/Santa Claus, a must-have for every Christmas celebration. He can be used in many ways, whether as table decor, an egg cozy for Advent breakfast, or you can make 24 of them right away and have a lovely Advent calendar. With his hat, mine is approx. 16 cm tall. I crocheted him with 100% polyacrylic yarn with a yardage of 133 m per 50 g and a 3.5 mm hook. But any other yarn with a matching hook will work too. The pattern is written and includes pictures, and is also suitable for beginners.
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting :)
