I’ve used up my first yarn cake.

Hello and good morning!

I just wanted to share my excitement that I finished the
triangular shawl for my little daughter last night,
which means I’ve used up my first yarn cake.

After a few minor hiccups at the start, it practically took care of itself.

And the shawl turned out absolutely beautiful.
Now my older daughter is waiting for hers—I’ll start on that tonight.

Though I also have to finish a commission by Sunday night.

That’s a great achievement! I know what you mean about the initial difficulties, but by now I’m a passionate Bobbel user.

I’ll add my voice to Michaela’s request and ask whether we might perhaps get to admire a photo.

I'll upload a photo of the shawl this evening.

Well, whether I'll become a passionate Bobbel user, I don't know
yet, but it was fun.

My daughters thought it was really great when the color changed. The
two of them watched with great excitement as the shawl grew and
the Bobbel shrank.

I got hooked after the very first gradient yarn cake.
Since then, I've worked up quite a few of them and have the next two gradient yarn cakes in progress.
