Downloaded Patterns

I have a question: I’m slowly losing track of my downloaded patterns. Is there a way to organize them somehow, like by grouping them into folders? That way, I wouldn’t have to scroll through all the patterns to find a specific scarf or amigurumi, which would be really helpful.

I’ve asked about this before, too—I feel exactly the same way, Christina. Don’t all users have this problem?

Well, I move the patterns into my personal folders.

That’s exactly what I do. I’ve saved so many patterns by now that I had no other choice.

This way, I can find everything faster.

But I use different devices, so having an organization system right here on CP would be really handy. ;-)

This is probably a really silly question: How do I move patterns into a private folder? I don’t see anywhere in the Downloads section where I can create a new folder.
Can I actually delete downloaded patterns—and if so, how?

Well, I save the patterns on my computer. And there, I’ve created folders for my craft projects. I manage the patterns exclusively through these folders now. Only when I need something while I’m out and about do I search through the downloads on CP.

Thanks, Ruth. I gave it a try—it works, though it’s a bit of a hassle. I’ll get organized on my new PC right away!
