The week is over :-)

We’re still in the middle of renovations... Today, despite the rainy weather, the roofers and the plasterer/painter are here to work on the facade... a total of 8 guys :-o—so I can forget about having any peace and quiet to crochet...

But the weekend is just around the corner... and this wet weather is perfect for crocheting

yes, the week is over.

We’ll be taking it easy this weekend, which means plenty of time for crocheting.
But I also have to clean the apartment and iron the
laundry.

I have Monday off. Then we’ll go shopping.
On Tuesday, we’re celebrating Halloween with some very dear friends, and on
Wednesday, we’ll just relax.

Thursday and Friday, it’s back to work.

I’m happy because my back pain is finally getting better. Getting dressed in the morning is still a bit of a struggle, but other than that, I’m feeling pretty good again :-)
The forecast calls for bad weather this weekend, so it’ll probably be a couple of cozy days at home.

I’m still unable to crochet. I went to the doctor to get my spine adjusted.
It cracked so hard that I felt completely lightheaded. OK, the vertebrae are back in place, but my right arm feels worse than before.
I’m about to have a major meltdown!

Yesterday we went to a Max Giesinger concert (it was awesome!) and tomorrow we’re heading off on a week-long vacation to the Netherlands. We’ll finally be able to completely unwind there.

To everyone who isn’t feeling all that well, above all I wish you a restful weekend.

I’ve had—and still have—a lot going on, both at work and in my personal life, so for now I’m going to use this dreary weather to catch up on sleep so I’ll be ready for the next round of turbulence. Knitting, crocheting, and writing patterns are taking a back seat for the time being — there’s just no other way around it...
