All these favorite foods here make you hungry right away. I like
pretty much everything that’s sweet, and savory things too. Except seafood—I
don’t like that. My favorite cake is of course strawberry cake base with whipped cream.
Here in Norway there is also the famous "Kransekake"—it’s delicious.
It’s a kind of piped cookie pastry, only lots of rings are piped onto the
baking sheet (from large to small ); these 12–14 rings are stacked
on top of each other like a little tower, and people often eat it at Christmas and on May 17
(National Day here ). My favorite meal: it’s called sweet-and-sour eggs with homemade mashed potatoes (sweet-and-sour sauce with rendered diced ham, mustard, honey, and the cracked egg left to cook in the sauce), schnitzel with fries or croquettes, spaghetti
Bolognese, homemade lasagna
yum delicious ... and of course I’m a chocoholic

That’s so sweet of you all to think of me. Thank you all for the birthday wishes.

I’ll make up for the pampering this weekend, since I unfortunately had to work today. 
We’ll go out for a nice meal,
