Dear users, dear authors,

A colorful rainbow arches over Noah’s Ark, making this door wreath a real feast for the eyes. But just look at all the other things there are to discover! So many animals! Lions, elephants, giraffes. Monkeys, doves, fish: they’ve all found refuge in the ark. The colorful rainbow is the sign that the Great Flood is finally over!
Crochet this wonderful door wreath—it’ll make a very special Christmas gift that will decorate the kids’ room for many years to come. You’ll see—it’s a ton of fun, because the project is very varied. You’ll be crocheting with Catania by Schachenmayr. You’ll also need a styrofoam wreath (25 cm) and some craft batting. The 31-page pattern, complete with plenty of pictures, is very detailed. You can download it here!

Romantic Advent decorations:

Crochet pattern for Christmas decoration / star / flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used separately. Finished size, large (meaning both parts), with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm in diameter.

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated.

All you need is a yarn leftover of approx. 10 g of a metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester, for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, any yarn you like can also be used with the appropriate crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn. You will also need a size 2.5 crochet hook, scissors, and a yarn needle.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Crochet Pattern Star / Pendant / Advent Calendar / Garland

These stars are magical, because they can become an Advent calendar. You can fill this star, so it can be used in many ways.
The star is sure to look very pretty as a gift tag, too.
Or how about using it as a garland for a child's birthday party?
There are no limits to your imagination.

You can also crochet just one side of the star and have a lovely appliqué. In a step-by-step pattern (less than 1 MB), I have explained and described everything in great detail. It includes a "small crochet school" so that beginners can work with this pattern easily, too. Of course, I am also happy to help at any time.

Large star: 15 cm (maybe for "doors" no. 6 and 24?)
Small star:
 12 cm

You should calculate a working time of about 1–2 hours per star, depending on how large you want to crochet the stars.

Materials
  • Catania yarn by Schachenmayr, 50 g / 125 m yardage (blue, white, red, etc.)
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors

I love stars and have a few patterns for them.

So I’d like to show you the star poncho HARLEKIN

The color gradient comes from a trendy yarn cake, which eliminates the hassle of weaving in ends. The poncho looks especially beautiful with a rainbow-like gradient.

This pattern was created at a customer’s request for anyone who would love to have an Asteria but can’t knit.

You simply crochet in rounds and let the color gradient work its magic. At the end, all you have to do is weave in the starting and ending yarn tails.

What skills do you need?
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Decreases or crocheting stitches together
  • Post double crochet
The basic techniques listed are not explained in the pattern.

Here’s what’s included: •Suitable for beginners •Recommended starting at size 74/86 •Expandable up to adult XXL

You’ll need the following materials at home: •1 4-ply yarn cake with a length of 1200 m from Garnstube •Alternatively, sock yarn or lace-weight yarn •3.5 mm and 6 mm crochet hooks •1 stitch marker •Scissors •Yarn needle
