Möbius Scarf

I need help with the "Zopf Karo" Möbius scarf. 
How & where does the Möbius join? If I'm only supposed to pick up half the stitches & then pick up the other half of the stitches from the lower side?

I hope someone can help me! Where is my mistake in thinking?

normally there should be contact information for the pattern somewhere.
You can also reach out directly through the portal. “PN” stands for “private message” — that’s the messaging system right here on crazypatterns.
Let me explain how it works:
The images get bigger when you click on them.
First, go directly to the product page for the pattern.
There you’ll find the author’s name to click on, as shown in the image.
I’ve added an arrow with text to help you find it.


This will take you to the author’s page, where you click on “Contact.”
Then you can write a private message to the author:





Clicking on it opens a text box for the private message.
As soon as you receive a reply, you’ll see a small red “1” in the top right corner of the page, where it says “Account.” You can then read it by going to Account --> Messages.

Give it a try.
We’ll help you further if it doesn’t work.

Oh man, I went to all that trouble with the screenshots, and then someone comes along with just an abbreviation.
Oh well. Maybe there are other users who can make use of my info and screenshots. :-)
