With his big googly eyes, Sam Floppy Ear wins hearts in no time—whether young or old. Unfortunately, he can't guard anyone. But he’s always there when you need someone to cuddle or to listen. Who has a little spot for this little heartbreaker?

Using the specified materials, Sam Floppy Ear will be 40 cm long. Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all my cuddly toys and dolls.

The pattern contains many step-by-step photos that make it easier to make. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) are required.

The following materials are needed to make it:
  • 250 g cotton yarn in white
  • 50 g cotton yarn in black
  • 50 g cotton yarn in yellow
  • 50 g cotton yarn in light green
  • leftover cotton yarn in soft apricot (skin-colored)
  • one pair of safety eyes, 18 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook, size 3

Isn't this a cute pair of hedgehogs?
Anny and Bruno are enthusiastic gardeners. Here Bruno has cut a sunflower for his Anny, which he proudly presents to her. This is a great idea for fall decoration! After that, children can play with the finger puppets all year round.
The two finger puppets are about 11 cm tall and can be crocheted from leftover cotton yarn. For the spines, you need a (preferably short) fringe yarn (Sheila Mini by Schachenmayr). If you use longer fringe yarn, you'll need to trim the hair a little at the end.

Crochet Pattern Lurchi the Lizard
At approx. 20 cm tall, Lurchi is very low-maintenance and is crocheted in seed stitch. This is described in detail in the pattern and is very easy, because it consists only of chain stitches and single crochet stitches.

Here you can find the pattern and Lurchi’s profile

The pattern is written without abbreviations.
