Halloween and Christmas Crafts: How’s It Going?

Dear users, dear authors,
who among you enjoys decorating for Halloween?
If you still want to make some crafts for it, it’s slowly getting to be time. Halloween is at the end of the month, and if you want to make patterns from our shop, you first have to find a suitable pattern, then get the materials, unless you’re working with leftover yarn. And of course you have to free up enough time to actually complete the project.
How is it going for you?

Please also think about Advent wreaths and Advent calendars. Every year I try to remind people that all of this has to be finished by Dec. 1 and that you need to plan enough time for making it, getting the materials, etc.
Is it going well with your Advent and Christmas decorations?

I'm working on my Christmas decoration (reindeer with sleigh).
But today I found a great Halloween lamp here. I bought the
pattern right away. I still have enough yarn for it
at home.

So I can get started soon. But I want to finish the reindeer first.

Oh my God—and then all the Christmas gifts and and and.

I need TIME.

Unfortunately, I’m hopelessly behind (just like every year!) :-( ..... I actually wanted to make some really beautiful fall decorations. I’ve even already bought the pattern, and the materials are all ready—but where did the time go again?

.... Well, maybe I’ll still get around to it next weekend. They’re predicting dreary weather—the perfect weather for crocheting ;-)

I’m getting one order after another right now. I wanted to crochet a nice shawl for a little one at work, but I have so many orders now that I don’t know if I’ll manage it.

Halloween is already done. I’ve already finished the spiders for my son and his friends. My little girl wanted a few more bats and spiders, but then decided on a deer and some mushrooms instead.

On Sunday, I’ll be carving faces into the pumpkins. So we’re all set for Halloween.

As for Christmas, I’ll know after my son’s fall break (when I’ve taken vacation) whether I’ll actually be able to finish everything I’ve planned.

And once again, I’ve resolved to start earlier next year. October is just too late for Christmas! Especially when shawls, animals, and capes are on the wish lists.

I always admire everyone who’s still working for the Christmas markets. When do they start so that everything is ready in time?
