I think infinity scarves—which you wrap twice around your neck—are super chic on cold days. They keep you warm and look cool. Something else I’ve been noticing a lot lately are large-scale, often geometric patterns that really make contrasting colors stand out.

I’ve got something for you along those lines.

This loop scarf is knitted from sock yarn, and what makes it special is that it’s a long knitted tube—meaning there’s no front or back. You can play with colors as much as you want, or simply knit it in a single color, and a big advantage of this pattern is that you can stop at any time once you run out of yarn. In theory, this also helps you avoid that dreaded leftover yarn.

A set of a hat and loop scarf, both in the same pattern, also looks very chic.

Take a look here.

Both are knitted from sock yarn. The pattern is interesting, but not difficult. Great knitting fun is guaranteed!

Long scarves with ends dangling down to your knees are everywhere again. The important thing is that it doesn’t all become too bulky and that you’re not pulled to the ground by the weight of the scarf - standing up straight contributes a lot to a fashionable appearance :-)
That’s why here’s a scarf made from sock yarn, knitted in a simple rib and lace pattern.

You can find the pattern here.

(Just so you know: mine is 2 meters long)

Striped or gradient yarns create a unique look:
Lace Shawl/Scarf - Easy - Knitted

Any yarn and size are possible.

A feather-light gradient lace shawl (yarn used here: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in a simple lace pattern that can be worn as a shawl, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf.

Basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knitting together, binding off) are sufficient for this simple lace pattern.

Probably the ideal candidate for this thread: the Elegancia loop scarf!
Elegant, chic, and wonderfully warming when needed!

I crocheted this little gem using about 1,000 m of 3-ply gradient yarn and a 3.0 mm crochet hook.
Of course, the pattern can also be crocheted with any other yarn.

You should be familiar with the following: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, cluster stitches (If you don’t have any experience with cluster stitches: Don’t worry! The download includes an extra file in which they are explained)

So, get the pattern here and start right away!

Have fun! :)

Also great as a gift!
The cuffs/wrist warmers and gloves are surprisingly easy to knit, either with two size 5 circular knitting needles or a set of double-pointed needles. Cast on stitches, knit and purl stitches, simple decreases, and bind off stitches. MyBoshi No1 or Boston are ideal for these beautiful designs.

The wrist warmers and gloves can be knitted in one color or in multiple colors and in different patterns, lengths, and sizes, for children or adults. Also great for beginners and those getting back into knitting.

Here is the knitting pattern, have fun.

Happy knitting from Ines

For me, cozy warm felted shoes are definitely part of fashionable clothing that is chic and warm. These felted booties here are knitted in one piece and then felted in the washing machine. You can knit them for yourself, your husband, the children, the grandchildren, a friend, your favorite colleague, or as guest slippers. In the pattern, you'll find all the details for sizes 18 to 45.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and always have warm feet. Once you try felted shoes ... always felted shoes. They do get a
little addictive ;-) Best regards - Yours, Ina

A chic poncho for fall is simply a must! This piece is knitted very easily, even by knitting beginners, and looks simply casual and stunning when worn. It flatters the figure and conceals little problem areas; nothing pinches or pulls. It is also wonderfully warm and cozy. Everyone will want one.

Materials:
  • 700 g Olympia
  • size 8 circular knitting needle
I hope you have lots of fun making it and get many admiring glances when wearing it. Best wishes from Ina
