What could be more exciting than a mystery novel?
Of course, knitting and watching and enjoying what comes out of it!

Maybe a new pair of wrist warmers,
this model has 2 sides: small cables on top and a classic
rib pattern underneath, so you can wear either the pattern or the ribs.

The thumb opening is also very nicely worked.

All of this is explained in detail in the pattern, with pictures too.

You will need: 50 g of merino wool with a yardage of 160 m,
as well as a set of double-pointed needles size 3

Required knitting skills:
> casting on stitches with the set of double-pointed needles
> knit stitches
> purl stitches
> crossing stitches
> picking up stitches
> binding off stitches
here is the pattern for it: Wrist Warmers

A very varied crochet project is the “Noah’s Ark” door wreath. First, the Styrofoam wreath (25 cm diameter) needs to be crocheted around. And then there are the many different animals. Finally, it’s time to arrange everything, where you also have plenty of creative freedom.
This will be a truly extraordinary gift and a beautiful decoration for a child’s room!
The detailed pattern is 31 pages long and includes lots of pictures to explain the individual steps.
You can download it here!

If you’re looking for some excitement while knitting, we’ve got you covered. A double-knitted scarf will chase away any boredom.

You can find the pattern here.

I’d advise beginners not to try this one—it’s for experienced knitters. You’ll need yarn (150 m/50 g) in two different colors, about 300 m of each color, and 3 mm knitting needles.
Double-knitted items have the effect that the colors on the front and back are exact opposites. Here, there are many dots that are brown on one side and white on the other. This pattern is illustrated in several knitting charts.

Mystery stories often have surprising endings. Sometimes scarves have surprising endings, too.

Take a look at this one.

This scarf is knitted from cotton and features a drop-stitch pattern that gives it a very airy look—so it’s not really suitable for the depths of winter, but rather for the in-between seasons. It’s knitted lengthwise.
And then comes the surprise ending: the fringed ends are crocheted on.

Some mysteries are a bit more subtle. There isn't constant murder and shooting; the suspense creeps up on you. In the end, you often don't quite know how it could have happened.
Here I have a scarf with subtle suspense for you. A simple knitting pattern, mainly stockinette stitch with a narrow lace edge on one side. The suspense develops because it is knitted diagonally, creating a fascinating play of colors. You eagerly follow along from one color to the next. Sock yarns with color gradients are especially well suited for this.

You can find the pattern here.

More exciting than a mystery novel is this rug made from knitting dolly cords. No two rugs will be alike. First you crochet a mesh grid in different colors. Then you pull the cords through this grid, which you made with the help of a crank knitting dolly. With the different colors, it’s really exciting to see how the rug will look in the end. In the description, I show and explain everything in detail—from the mesh, to making the knitting dolly cords, to threading them through, and finally the border. It’s simply a rug that is a lot of fun—to make and later to live with.

I hope you enjoy the knitting dolly rug.

Warm regards from Ina

Another exciting craft project with an element of surprise is this round “Kunterbunt” rug. Depending on which colors you use, it will look one way, another way, or something else entirely. You can make it in the future owner’s favorite colors or use up all the leftover yarn you have. Anything is possible.

Click here for the crochet pattern for this beautiful rug, which you can make in a size of 1 meter or 70 cm in diameter. The back is lined with non-slip material so it won’t slide around and will stay securely in place.

I hope you enjoy making the “Kunterbunt” rug.

Yours, Ina

Crochet Pattern Advent Calendar Frau Holle

Details & Pattern

Fairy tales are exciting, and Frau Holle is no exception. During the Christmas season, every evening she fills her bag with surprises and pins little messages to the shutter.
An Advent calendar for the whole family: every evening someone else fills the bag, so anyone hoping to raid it doesn’t stand a chance.

To make this, you should be familiar with the following:
magic ring, chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches, as well as increasing and decreasing stitches.
You can find more detailed information about the materials in the details.
The material information refers to the wreath shown; it can also be easily
made with different yarn or in other colors.

As always, the pattern is written without abbreviations.
