Apron bib

Hi everyone,
I’m Bettina, a beginner at sewing and a “newly minted godmother.” I’d like to sew a bib apron for my Anton and am looking for a sewing pattern for sizes 86–104.
If anyone can help me, that would be great.

I’m not really familiar with specific sizes for bib aprons—just the general categories of “children” or “adults.”
Just try Googling “sew a children’s apron,” and you’ll find plenty of results with detailed instructions.
If it’s a little too big around the tummy when you tie it, just tuck the fabric in a bit, and make the straps longer at the neck and tie them in a knot—that way, the apron will grow with him.

Thanks, Hanni1, but I’m looking for bib aprons that little ones can still put their arms through. Every mom knows this, especially during the first puree-feeding stage: just as you’re guiding the spoon into their mouth, whoops—they turn their head and the baby food ends up on their shoulders. A bib apron like that is great.
Maybe someone else has an idea.

Well, why don’t you Google “Malschütze”? Those are painting smocks with sleeves. I’m not sure if they come in sizes 86/104, though—otherwise, these bibs are also called “Ärmellätzchen” (sleeved bibs), and I’ve found quite a few of those.
