Color of the Year: Marsala

Hi,

I’d be curious to know what you think of the color for 2015 (Marsala):

Do you plan to make anything with it? Have you spotted any yarn in this new shade yet?

I really love this warm, cozy shade of red—sooo much better than last year’s purple.

Hi Nici,

that’s a really beautiful color. If CP weren’t so minimalist, we might be able to incorporate the color into the design somewhere. Since the most important thing on CP is the products and the main photos, I hope we’ll soon see lots of beautiful photos in Marsala—that way, CP will get a little Marsala too :-).

The color isn’t really my thing, though

The color Marsala is really beautiful. I could imagine crocheting an owl with it, or some other cozy amigurumi. And socks, slippers, booties, and things like that.

I think the color is beautiful, too.
Those extremely garish colors have really annoyed me in recent years.
This color has a down-to-earth quality to it, but it’s also warm.
