Here comes that time of year again when baby feet need warmth. That’s when baby shoes like these are in demand, for example:

Knitting pattern for simple baby shoes “Jakob” - also ideal for beginners

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Matching baby shoes for every outfit – quick and easy to knit.
You can also divide up the colors differently as you like, fold the cuff inward or outward, sew on a button, etc.

The step-by-step main pattern with pictures describes the version shown in the title image. There is also a short pattern to print out and a sketch (be sure to download it).

These basic knitting skills are required:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in rows, edge stitches, binding off, color changes.

We need:
50 g soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m - 130 m yardage per 50 g ball, color petrol, for knitting needle size 3 – 4, approx. 20 g of matching leftover yarn in the same yarn weight, color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn). Gauge according to the ball band: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, used here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, and a 3.0 crochet hook for the bow.

Sweet Baby Booties approx. 2–4 months

I always enjoy knitting baby booties. I’d love to share this pattern with you.
They make a great gift for an expectant mother or for your first visit to the baby.

The booties are well described, with pictures.

Have fun making them

You’ll be able to make these little booties too with my pattern. If you don’t like the colors, just swap them out. How about light blue, a darker blue, and white?
It looks just as cute.

There are even discounts available in my shop right now. So grab them while you can.

Materials: 50 g of the main color; for the remaining colors, leftover yarn will suffice.

These will also keep little feet warmly wrapped:

Crochet pattern for simple baby shoes

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.

Basic crochet skills are sufficient.

We need:

approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for knitting needles size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used—the specified measurements are what matter (check gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors.

In addition to the detailed pattern, I have also created a short crochet pattern (sketch) as well as a short pattern for the knitted version.

By the way: cash gifts can be “wrapped” this way, too.

Have fun “crocheting/knitting around baby feet” :-)

And here is the pattern

The sneakers for babies are very easy to crochet and look really sweet, too. A very lovely gift for a birth. I crocheted these sneakers fairly low-cut, because the beautiful warm season is coming soon and high-top sneakers would probably be much too warm for the little ones then.

I offer you a pattern for 3 sizes. I have explained everything step by step and with clear pictures.

Sizes
  • 15 = 9.3 cm
  • 16 = 10.0 cm
  • 17 = 10.7 cm

Material
  • Catania yarn (3 different shades of blue, white and black)
  • Crochet hook 2.5
  • Sewing needle
What will be crocheted
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • increases and decreases
Have fun, Dorigurumi

Our little girls are perfectly “shod” in these ballet flats...
The button sets the trend!

Also an ideal project for using up leftover yarn. Finished in 1–2 hours!

The pattern is designed for a foot length of about 9–10 cm.
However, the included gauge makes it easy to make any size!
You will also find a table for baby and children's shoe sizes (incl. cm measurements) in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern and more details...
