Knitted poncho/stole, feather-light - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - the stitch pattern and shape are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a short pattern for a feather-light and very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made with just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend lace yarns without mohair, because mohair can hardly be unraveled at all.

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted as a warm outdoor poncho with thick yarn, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. Required yarn amount then approx. 700 g. The stitch count is always based on your individual gauge.
To convert your individual gauge, I recommend:
READ IT OFF instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet
as well as my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how..

Required knitting skills:
casting on stitches, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Also ideal for using up leftover yarn:

Potholder - the crochet classic

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

This potholder is considered a classic for crochet beginners.

For this, you will need 50 g cotton yarn per color for a size 4.5 mm crochet hook.

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

The following basic crochet skills are required: (turning) chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch.

By the way, many of my patterns are kept simple and are therefore suitable for beginners.

Noose, the Knot Loop + Noose, the Warm One

1 pattern, 2 Nooses Why even more? Because it was so much fun, the Nooses look so different, and I just couldn’t stop.
(Warning, it’s addictive :-)
These two Nooses are based on “Noose, the Sun,” but are larger and also become significantly wider toward the bottom so they drape around the shoulders.

Material:

  • Yarn between 150 g and 200 g. I used leftover sock yarn here, but any other yarn works too, whether thick or thin; the leftovers should be similar in thickness.
  • Matching knitting needles and crochet hooks
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle

Difficulty level:
Knitting very easy, only stockinette stitch
Crochet varies. You need to know double crochet and chain stitches; everything else is optional :-)

General notes:
Sharing, publishing, or reproducing this pattern is NOT permitted! All copyright, author’s rights, and other rights to texts and graphics belong to Marion Terasa / Wollopus.

You are welcome to sell commercially, give away, or donate works you have made yourself, i.e., crocheted or knitted.
