What’s the difference between a loop and a tube?

Hi,
I saw a “tube” in an ad. As far as I understand it, it’s a kind of scarf that’s wrapped around the neck just once and is sewn, knitted, or crocheted together at the ends.
A “loop,” on the other hand—as I understand it—is also sewn, knitted, or crocheted together at the ends, but can be wrapped around the neck multiple times.

Is that right?

But according to the article, they’re all pretty much the same thing.

It doesn’t really matter whether you call it a loop or a tube.
The only thing that matters is that it looks good.
