Last-minute crocheted, knitted, sewn, or knooked gifts?

Do you ever find yourselves, every now and then when you don’t have a gift, quickly knitting, crocheting, sewing, or knooking something to make someone happy?

Definitely YES :)

I don’t need to, because when I want a bit of variety, I make small or more elaborate items, which I keep and can give away as gifts for the right occasion :-)

I’d love to give more handmade gifts. The only problem is that I can’t just whip up something “quickly” like that. I’m simply not fast enough. If I rushed or tried to speed things up, the stitches would be uneven and the finished piece wouldn’t look good. I think it’s just a matter of practice.
