Crochet pattern + knitting pattern
Soul warmer and cuffs - crocheted like knitted - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - quick and easy

Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is popular all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or on the couch in winter.

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cuddly soft.
But knitters will also get their money's worth. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is detailed with photos over 23 pages and includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/foot cuffs.

The stitches used are explained with photos.
So general crochet or knitting skills are sufficient.

Basically, any yarn you like can be used. However, the amount of yarn may vary greatly depending on your choice of yarn and needle/hook size. Details are included in the pattern. My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the ball band for needle size 3 – 4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

  • for the soul warmer, approx. 500 g in the crochet version
(approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needles size 6.0),
  • for the cuffs, approx. 100 g in both versions

Got a wedding coming up?
This crocheted bride and groom make a lovely decoration for the wedding cake or the gift table. But that’s not all, because...
...you can open them up!
And inside, you can hide a little surprise: a cash gift, a voucher, or another small token.

The bride and groom are crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule. All you need is a few bits of leftover yarn and some stuffing for the head. For the veil, you can use some tulle or a piece of sheer curtain fabric.

Change the hair color and hairstyles to match the real bride and groom, and you’ll have a one-of-a-kind gift!

You can get the crochet pattern here!

Some TRENDS are simply impossible to resist...

Known by the name "Katniss' Cowl," this asymmetrical soul warmer has truly become a "MUST HAVE."
We have modified the original version a little.

The pattern is designed for size 38/40.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

You will also find a detailed chart in the pattern, which makes the knitting process easier for you.

And here is the pattern with more details...

For stricken-im-trenn: Your Katniss-Cowl looks really great—unfortunately, I don’t like knitting with such thick needles! I’d knit it straight away with size 6 needles, but I’m afraid that would involve some overly complicated calculations!

Not just thinking around the corner, but crocheted from corner to corner too - the placemats for coffee lovers

These doilies are crocheted beautifully and uniquely using the Mini C2C technique, which I of course also describe in the pattern.

What you need:

♦ Crochet yarn in your desired colors, recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g, e.g. Schachenmayr Catania or Scheepjes Catona. Background color: approx. 2 skeins, all other colors: less than 1 skein
♦ Crochet hook: For the yarn types mentioned, I recommend a 3 mm hook. If you use different yarn, you may need a different hook.
♦ Sewing needle to weave in the ends
♦ A pair of scissors to cut off leftover yarn

The required stitches are chain stitches, half double crochet, and slip stitches.

Get the pattern here and get started right away! :)

Have fun with it.
