Not just an owl, but also a useful pot holder! With their vibrant colors, this original pair of owls will be an eye-catcher in your kitchen.
The owls’ bodies are very easy to crochet, as they consist entirely of single crochet stitches. The feathers on the belly and wings are a bit tricky, but they are explained in detail in the pattern, with plenty of pictures.
They were crocheted using Catania by Schachenmayr.

And it’s not just an owl — it’s a cute keychain with a shopping cart token pouch! This way, you’ll always have your shopping cart token with you and won’t lose it, since the pouch closes with a zipper.
The little owl chef can be crocheted in no time using just a few bits of leftover yarn.
A sweet little gift for owl fans or home cooks!

This St. Martin’s Day owl lantern is also all the rage and is guaranteed to draw admiration and compliments.

It’s made from photo cardstock and tracing paper, measures about 25 x 26 x 10 cm, is easy to make, nice and compact, and easy for even small children to carry. You can leave out the many circles on the feathers—the owl still looks pretty without them.

Crochet pattern for fence owls

Do you have sooo... much leftover yarn?
Then simply crochet around your garden fence and use up your leftover yarn in the process.
The more colorful, the better—with these funny owls, you’ll add decorative accents to your garden or along the roadside.

Details & pattern are available here

All you need is leftover yarn and the right crochet hook.

The pattern is written so that the owls can be adjusted to the sizes of the fence slats; it is illustrated and written without abbreviations

The owls are on the loose! These little crochet owls are quick to crochet and always want company ♥

The little owl BOO will be about 7 to 8 cm tall when made with the specified materials, making it
ideal as a keychain or bag charm. They also feel right at home on small gifts or a school satchel.

You only need a very small amount of cotton yarn (colorful scraps), a size 2.5 crochet hook, and a little stuffing.
Mini buttons are used here for the eyes. But you can also glue on felt dots or half pearls.

This owl serves as a guardian and can be hung on any door. Depending on which side it is showing, you’ll know right away whether access is clear or not.

Children especially love it!

The guardian owl is also easy for beginners with basic crochet skills to make.
And it’s a very special gift that everyone will be happy to receive.

The following materials are needed:
  • Red and green thinner cotton yarn – leftovers are enough, too (here I used yarn with a yardage of 170 m/50 g)
  • Leftover cotton yarn in white and beige (gray or other colors can also be used as an alternative)
  • Buttons without visible holes in dark brown, dark blue, or black,
  • Stuffing or leftover yarn for filling
  • Crochet hook size 3–4; I used 3.5 here

These prior skills are required:
  • crocheting single crochet, slip stitches, chain stitches, half double and treble crochet
  • Crocheting in rounds (explained together with the magic ring in a short workshop with photos)
  • Decreasing and increasing stitches (briefly explained)
  • Embroidering cross stitch
The crochet pattern is 16 pages long. All steps are described in detail, mostly with photos.
