I’ve been crocheting like crazy all day... But I’m not sure yet if it’s going to turn out right...
You know how it is when you crochet 5 rows and then have to unravel 3 of them?? That’s how it’s been all day -.- *laughs*

Oh yes, I know that feeling very well. :-) Especially when I’m trying something new.

Today I finished crocheting number 3 of the tissue box covers. Now I have them standing there in three different colors. Right now I need something that works up quickly—good for that sense of achievement. ;-)

I wish all visitors lots of fun crocheting, knitting, or whatever else you enjoy!

Da ich meinen Gatten heute schon in aller Frühe zur Augenklinik fahren musste, war ich auch schon früh fleißig und habe an meiner neuen Tunika weiter gearbeitet. ;-) 

Nachdem ich gestern meine neue Brille bekam habe ich heute Anleitungen geschrieben und kann jetzt endlich wieder was häkeln ;-)

Dem Optiker sei Dank ;-)

I started working on a loop scarf. Not sure if that was such a good idea with this thick yarn.

I crocheted a girlfriend for my ladybug today so he doesn’t have to flutter around all by himself anymore! :)

Jepp, habe grade eine Stunde gestrickt. Kann nicht gescheit schlafen..uff. 
Ich gehe jetzt wieder ins Bett und probiers noch mal..

Heute leider noch nichts, aber gestern habe ich wieder bei der Decke für meine Tochter weitergemacht. Da ist jetzt bald Schluss, weil die Wolle wieder aus geht und ich nachbestellen muss.
Und ich habe ein Küken gehäkelt. Eigentlich fertig zusammengenäht. Einzelteile waren schon fertig.

Mehr geht zur Zeit nicht, da wir Holz für den Winter einlagern. Damit mir, sollte es kalt werden, die Finger nicht einfrieren und ich da schön weiter häkeln und stricken kann.

Ich habe gestern angefangen meine Wollschätze vom Wollmeisesale im Juni zu wickeln und beginne heute mit einem neuen Design. Gott sei Dank haben wir hier Strickwetter, es regnet und ist nicht mehr so heiß.

I’ve finished my first winter/Christmas pattern for this year...and right in the middle of summer...but with the heat we’re having here, at least I was able to cool off mentally.

Habe bereits eine Stunde an einem neuen Modell zum Modellieren gearbeitet,das Grundgerüst und die Anleitung dazu ist fertig.Werde mir gleich noch neuen Salzteig machen,den ich diesmal versuche zu färben.

Good morning. I actually haven’t done anything yesterday or today. Crocheting is a bit of a pain right now—I guess I overdid it and my wrists are acting up a little.
Nothing dramatic, but I’m not forcing myself to crochet right now.

I’m going to tidy up my sewing room a bit in a minute and then start a sewing project. We’ll see what I end up starting with. I have way too many ideas for that, too.  But I did promise my husband I’d work through my fabric stash, since we’re moving in December...

I envy you. I have a whole list in my head of everything I should be making for Christmas. But right now, I’m swamped with my family’s special requests.
And Christmas is already in 5 months—take a deep breath, keep crocheting.....

I uploaded a new pattern today. It’s always such a nice feeling. You spend so long fine-tuning every single detail, but at some point it’s finally done. There’s nothing left to improve or revise. Now I’m going to tidy everything up and then, for the time being, do nothing that has anything to do with wool. I have time again for summer, family, the garden, reading ... you have to take breaks from crafts too, even if only for a little while ;-) I hope you all have a lovely day.

Ich tüftel an einem gestrickten Umhang rum.
Die erste Version aus dünnerer Wolle war mir etwas zu klein geraten.

Ich hab mir was mit Granny's ausgesucht und verschiedenen Farben. Kleine Granny. Und so habe ich heute noch nichts anderes gemacht, als Fäden vernäht.

Zählt das auch als Handarbeit :-)

I’ve been crocheting more on my tunic. I’m working on the sleeves now, and I’m slowly nearing the final stages. So you’ll be able to admire my work in the gallery soon.
And I already have my next project in mind.
