Halloween Decorations // Creepy Is Brilliant

Dear users, dear authors,
do you also have problems with ghosts / spirits at home? Mouse traps unfortunately don’t help in this case; the ghost isn’t substantial enough for that. For Halloween, it’s actually quite practical to have your own ghost, but right in the middle of summer, my ghost somehow feels completely lost among summer flowers, summer shirts, tunics, and summer decorations. The rest of the Halloween decorations with creepy designs, spiders, witches, bats, pumpkins, etc. are still in the cupboard.

My tip at this point:
If you give the ghost some suitable oil, it can oil its rattling chains. Then there won’t be so much noise anymore, and you can sleep better again. That worked absolutely wonderfully for me. :-) By now it has also forgiven me for the mouse-trap incident. :-)

If you’d like Halloween to be nicely creepy and spooky, start crafting now.

More animals.
More decorations.
More fall patterns.
More leftover yarn patterns.

@Autoren,
you can introduce all your Halloween patterns here.
Please don’t forget the link and image, as well as information about materials, technique, difficulty level, and what makes the pattern special.

--> Click here for the crochet pattern

It’s hard to imagine Halloween without a really cool witch.
That’s why here’s a truly hideous, ugly green Halloween witch that is 80 cm tall including the hat. And of course, every witch needs a broom.

**Difficulty Level:** Medium

**Materials for the witch:**

- Gründl Happy yarn:
- Light green, approx. 250 gr.
- Black, approx. 250 gr.
- Red, approx. 100 gr.
- Purple, approx. 20 gr.
- Brown, approx. 50–60 gr.
- Beige, approx. 30–40 g
-- Some craft wire for the fingers, joints, and the parts you want to stabilize or make movable
-- Some white fabric, as well as red and black permanent markers for the eyes and mouth
-- Glue
-- Crochet hook size 3.5, yarn needle, scissors, and stuffing

The spooky spider isn’t just for Halloween. If you like spiders, you can also use it as an appliqué, e.g. on a hat. It is very easy to crochet and will vary in size depending on the thickness of the yarn used. You can download the pattern for free here.

Not quite so spooky, but rather a bit dreamy and clumsy, is Gustav the little ghost.

He thinks he is terrifying and dangerous, but what he fears most is the dark. So get his crochet pattern quickly so he won't be so alone anymore.

You will receive a detailed 26-page pattern with lots of photos to help you make it.
The doll is approx. 33 cm tall.
The PDF includes the pattern for the doll, the coat, and the hat.

Also suitable for beginners

Required skills:
The pattern does not include a basic course. You should know how to crochet single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

You will also need:
  • approx. 100 g yarn (needle size 3-4) in white
  • approx. 50 g each in sand & dark red,
  • crochet hook sizes 2.5 and 3.5
  • bodkin, darning needle
  • stuffing
  • embroidery floss in black or dark brown and red
  • 2 safety eyes, size 12 mm, 4 small children's buttons
here is Gustav

Out with the summer décor and in with the autumn ambiance!
Pumpkins are simply part of it—so why not make them yourself?

With one purchase, you get 3 patterns all at once!

The orange pumpkin measures about 20 cm in diameter and is approx. 10 cm tall. The white pumpkin is about 20 cm tall, and the green-and-white pumpkin measures approx. 10x10 cm.

And here’s the pattern and more details...
