A great little gift to bring to a barbecue: the little owl chef! This keychain has a token pocket under its apron that can be securely closed with a zipper. You can use it to store shopping cart tokens
or coins.
The owl is quick and easy to crochet. It’s also a great way to use up leftover yarn! Click here for the pattern!

At the start of the barbecue party, there’s an aperitif first!
To keep annoying insects from “drinking along,” you should have these practical crocheted glass covers and straws ready. The straw fits through the hole in the middle. That way you can enjoy sipping your drink without anything falling into the glass.
You can crochet the glass covers very quickly and easily; even beginners won’t have any trouble with them. If you crochet a few slightly larger and add a hanger (also described in the pattern), you’ll have matching potholders right away!

Barbecues are always fun!
However, it often gets a little chilly in the evening once the grill is no longer glowing.
That's when a shawl like this is worth its weight in gold!

The size of the finished product is approximately 184 x 92 cm.
So large enough to wrap yourself up nicely!

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.
For clarification, you will find both 2 charts and a photo tutorial in the pattern.

And here is the pattern and more details...

A nicely set table is also part of a lovely barbecue party!
So why not let your thoughts wander a little into faraway places? ;-)

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern includes 3 charts of the motifs, 1 crochet chart, as well as
a illustrated step-by-step explanation for the color change.

The finished table runner measures approximately 158 x 45 cm.
However, the given gauge and the crochet area between the motifs allow room for individual lengths.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

To make sure the grill master doesn’t burn their fingers, they should definitely have a pot holder like this!

To make the pot holders, you’ll need to know how to:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet, treble crochet, and triple treble crochet
  • Slip stitches

  • You’ll need the following materials:
  • Crochet hook size 3.5
  • Yarn: 50 grams per color, 100% cotton—yarn length: 50 grams = approx. 125 meters, gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 26 stitches, 36 rows (I used Camilla by Buttinette here)

  • I hope you enjoy your barbecue party!
