So how many crochet hooks, knitting needles, embroidery needles, darning needles, pins and sewing needles do you have at home?

Just asking out of curiosity
how many craft supplies (not counting wool and yarn) do you have at home?
What’s the absolute minimum for sellers, or for people who don’t make patterns but enjoy crafting?

I have
three crochet hooks,
circular knitting needles,
various sewing needles,
as well as darning needles and pins—basically whatever fits into a sewing kit
Unfortunately, I don’t have a sewing machine, but maybe I will someday.
I don’t think I have any embroidery needles at all. Except for one of those plastic ones from a kids’ embroidery kit, but that thing bends, so it doesn’t count. ;)

I’m guessing you all have a lot more supplies, right?

For people who have lots of them, of course you don’t have to count them one by one—you can also give the amount in kilos or something like that :)

If you mean just the tools
a big sewing box for the sewing supplies, plus a large plastic box for the rest, like Kam snap pliers, spare bobbins, etc. (not counting the various little boxes and cartons with fasteners, buttons, etc., since those are materials)
2 sewing machines and an overlocker, along with accessories
a big box for various knitting needles and one for the crochet hooks
I also keep embroidery hoops, etc. separately in a drawer unit

as a professional, you simply need all kinds of tools, although I already had various things before that too, so I can always get started straight away :-)

Yeah, mützekatze, I think I have quite a bit more. My knitting needles have their own drawer, and they could actually be counted by the kilo :D I have a few crochet hooks in every size. I could even count my sewing thread by the kilo, ggg.
Well, it all adds up over time, and you keep needing it again and again.

I have about as much—or as little—as muetzekatze. I can’t keep up with the pro gear either.

HI... so for crochet hooks, I have one of each size from 0.1 to 1.5, then 5 of each size up to size 10, and 3 each of sizes 11 and 12.

Embroidery needles: 3 different sizes -> 5 of each

I have 2 spools of sewing thread per color.

Otherwise, just the usual sewing supplies you’d find in a craft box

About 100 pipe cleaners in various colors

Various plastic eyes; altogether, without sorting them by size, there are about 100 pieces

Various snap hooks in different sizes and colors

Oh, basically, I have tons of everything I use a lot and often

Things that are harder to get, I usually buy straight away in packs of 50 or 100; things that can be reordered and delivered quickly, I don’t keep too much of on hand.... all of it needs space, after all... and you have to use that space wisely

Oh, ask something easier.
Crochet hooks from 0.9 to 5, one of each, although I also have some really old ones in 2.5 and 3, plus horn ones in 3 or 4.
Double-pointed needles from 1.75 to 5, and one set in size 8. I have four sets each only in 2.5 and 3, some from my mum.
1 crochet hook and 1 circular needle for Tunisian crochet
Long straight knitting needles from 2 to 6
Circular needles from 2 to 6, and 1 in size 9
 Embroidery and darning needles ??????
Eyes, beads, and other accessories ?????
I’ve got plenty of sewing machine supplies and everything that goes with them. Hopefully my husband doesn’t read this

Dear friends—I can’t keep up with the pros. But over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a bit.

You’ll end up with all that eventually. I think that if you’ve been in the crafts business for years or are a passionate hobbyist who does a lot of crocheting, knitting, crafting, sewing, embroidering, and all that, then crochet hooks, knitting needles, darning needles, and other kinds of needles just accumulate on their own at home. The ladies here in this thread have mentioned that too. :)
