Imagine you have to go to a deserted island. Which would you rather take with you?

One person suggests two options, the next person picks one and suggests two new ones.

Chewing gum. Whiskey tastes like soap. ;-)

Scissors or pliers? 

Scissors—it’s really hard to neatly trim woven-in ends with pliers.

Staycation on the balcony or a cruise?

Balkonien. Wenn schon Schiff, dann Flussfahrt.

Rosen oder Nelken?

Rosen! Nelken und ich altmodisch.

Aber Leute, nicht vergessen: wir sind auf einer einsamen Insel!

A tough one. Actually, both. My husband, who helps me chop down trees, and my craft supplies so I can crochet myself some warm clothes.
I’d go with the craft supplies
