I just signed up here because my girlfriend regularly shops with you. Admittedly, I laughed long and often about her little handicraft hobby, until one day she put a crochet hook in my hand, and now I have to get involved too. It’s actually kind of fun.
In the profile there isn’t any setting for male users, and I didn’t want to keep the female avatar. Can you change that somewhere or somehow?

How about a photo of yourself or an avatar picture of your choice from the big wide internet? Some avatar pictures are free to use, after all.

In any case, I think it's great that you crochet, and I hope you have lots of fun crocheting and here at CP.

Why not take a nice photo of yourself or of your hands while crocheting, or whatever else comes to mind, and then resize it.
For example, that's what I did
