This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.

Basic crochet skills are enough.

We need:

approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for knitting needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used—the stated measurements are what matter (check gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors

The beauty of homemade packaging is that you can easily adapt it to any color preference. And if a child starting school likes pink, then they should receive their gifts in a pink backpack!
 


This backpack is made from photo cardstock, measures approximately 16.5 x 22.5 x 9 cm, and is very easy to make—in a detailed, illustrated tutorial, I’ll show you step by step how to do it.

Now the doll children can join their doll moms in the water in matching outfits.

You can use the heart with popcorn stitch in many ways. It can serve as a potholder or as a small cushion cover for a grain pillow or another small cushion. It measures about 20 cm x 20 cm. 
The pattern explains the popcorn stitch in detail; it’s not nearly as hard as it seems. And the back is made only of single crochet stitches.

Pink was long considered a color for little girls, until it became completely established and is now wearable for us “grown-ups,” too. But if Mom or Grandma isn’t quite ready to try a pink sweater for herself yet, it can also be something smaller: To make everyday work in the kitchen a little pinker, I have written a few patterns for dish sponges that can be made in no time.

The pattern is suitable for crochet beginners. It is made with creative bubble yarn by rico.design, but you can also use other yarns to crochet the dish sponge. It works both as a helpful tool in the kitchen and as a pink exfoliating sponge in the bathroom.

Pink eggs aren’t just for Easter in the kitchen: My crochet pattern for egg-shaped dish sponges can be crocheted by beginners in 1–2 hours and has excellent cleaning properties. Plus, the eggs can be crocheted not only in pink but also in any other color.


The cleaning performance of creative bubble yarn by rico design is outstanding. However, the eggs can also be made with other yarn.

Freddy the Piglet with a Heart: Crochet Pattern

The cute little piglet Freddy wants you to crochet him!! With his enchanting gaze and his long, lanky legs, he’s simply irresistible! Freddy is about 20 cm tall (including ears); the heart is about 6 cm tall and about 7 cm wide (at its widest point). His “wobbly legs” can move in all directions, so he can also sit perfectly on any table edge or corner. What you’ll need:

• A 3 mm crochet hook
• Approx. 60 g of pink yarn (I used Schachenmayr “Universa”) suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook. Approx. 15 g of white/cream-colored yarn for the feet and arms, also suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook. Black thread for the face.
• A darning needle, and possibly some pins to help you sew the individual limbs on more precisely at the end.
• Stuffing/fiberfill
• 8 mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• For the little heart, you’ll also need red yarn (100% cotton), which should also be suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook

Crochet Pattern “Wool Rhinos Rosa & Rhino” by Diana’s Little Crochet Shop Rosa and Rhino belong to the wool rhino species. They’re two really chatty little ones—“I wonder who they get that from?” If you want some peace and quiet, I recommend keeping a roll of tape handy. The figure is approximately 27 cm tall. It’s hard to say exactly how wide it is. Strangely enough, Rosa has a much bigger belly and bottom than Rhino. She’s probably been secretly snacking on my chocolate bars—the ones I’d set aside for myself while crocheting. I used cotton yarn here, such as Schachenmayr Catania, Gründl Cotton Quick Uni, Katja Capri, or Limone by Schöller & Stahl. You can use any cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m per 50 g, or of course your favorite yarn. The size may vary depending on the type and thickness of the yarn. I also tied in a tiny bit of fluffy yarn, but this isn’t absolutely necessary. You’ll also need the following basic materials:

• Crochet hooks in size 2.0
• 10 mm black half-beads
• a pair of false eyelashes for Rosa, though this isn’t absolutely necessary
• stuffing
• scissors
• stitch markers and a row counter
• white sewing thread
• hot glue gun
• sewing supplies
