The little owl not only looks adorable, it’s also extremely practical :-)Inside it is a shopping bag that is sewn in place. You can let the owl dangle from your wrist while shopping, tie it to your handbag, hang it from your pants with an additional carabiner hook attached to the cord—or of course tuck it away, though that would be a shame. This owl with a surprise egg in its belly makes a nice gift for St. Nicholas Day or for an Advent calendar. You can put a love note, a small gift, a gift certificate, etc., inside the surprise egg.
Of course, you can remove the hat and still use the owl after Christmas.

If you don’t have a surprise egg, you can also sew the owl together and stuff it with stuffing.
