Today was a very lazy day on the balcony. I still had my knitting with me, though. A storm just broke out, so now we’ve retreated indoors.

I was visiting relatives and am just now on my way home.
I feel like I’ve sweated out 10 liters of water. I’ll be home in about 2 hours and am looking forward to an hour or two of cozy crocheting.

I was working until just now. I’ll be home in an hour, and then I’ll have something to eat and then do some crocheting. When I have time off, I like to sit on the patio in nice weather, listening to an audiobook, and crocheting. 

After a 14-day vacation, the garden is full of weeds (I have no idea why they grow so fast). So, in addition to doing laundry, I’m always pottering around a bit.

I always work until 5 p.m., even in this heat.
After that, I lay down on the sofa and focused on not melting. I wasn’t capable of doing anything more than that. ;)
When the sun was slowly setting, I went for a run—it was wonderful!
And after sunset, I finally picked up a crochet hook again! :) 

I’m currently making the final edits to my new book (Delicately Patterned Bead Jewelry), which will be released in August. I’ve been at it since 3 a.m. because my cat woke me up and was so cuddly that I couldn’t get back to sleep. I’ll keep working in the garden today (it’s more of a construction site than a garden right now, since I’m completely redesigning it) and, while I’m at it, dream up and plan my next project. Plus, I still need to take photos for my new summer crochet top, and and and...

With this beautiful weather, I’m unfortunately stuck at work from morning till night. Although last night I did go to a wine tavern with my coworkers, where we laughed and chatted in the garden.
I really hope the weather stays this nice over the Pentecost weekend. I’ll have Friday through Tuesday off because my kids are already on break starting Friday.
But I won’t get much time for crafts then either. We want to get out and do something.

Every free minute I have, I sit in my shady corner of the garden and crochet. Thank goodness I managed to finish my thick scarf over the weekend. It works great with thin cotton yarn, even in these high temperatures.
