Problems with an English pattern

Good morning, crochet enthusiasts!

I’ve only been crocheting for 3 weeks and don’t know everything yet.

I bought an English pattern and am stuck.

I mean, I understand what it says, but apparently I’m too dumb or untalented.

The pattern calls for two special stitches.
I’ve attached a picture.
I understand what a “yarn over” is,
but I don’t get the “loop.” Does that mean a full loop stitch? But then wouldn’t there be too few loops on the hook? And I also don’t understand the difference between that and the 3-stitch cluster.
Can you please help me?

I think a “2-dc cluster” here refers to a cluster of 2 double crochets—or, in other words, you crochet 2 double crochets into one stitch and finish them together. 

To do this, first crochet one double crochet into the designated stitch, but don’t complete it fully—instead, just leave the last two loops on the hook. Then crochet the second double crochet into the same stitch and finish both together.

The “3-dc cluster” works on the same principle, except that this cluster consists of 3 double crochets.

And here’s a quick note:
In English patterns, “loop” simply refers to the loop on the hook—for example, when you yarn over—not a specific type of stitch.
 
You might also want to watch a few videos in English; that way, you’ll hear which terms are typically used for different techniques and stitches—it’ll definitely make things a bit easier.
