Piggy Egg Cozy

Go directly to the crochet pattern here

Crochet these funny little piggy egg cozies!! The little piggies are super quick and easy to crochet, so they’re also perfect as a beginner project :-) . You should be able to make a magic ring, increase and decrease stitches, and crochet single crochet stitches. The egg cozies are crocheted entirely in single crochet. Experienced craft fans can finish the egg cozy in about 40–45 minutes! Difficulty level: Easy
Length: 8 illustrated pages; in the pattern, I describe everything step by step with pictures. What you need:
  • approx. 15 g craft yarn (if you use 100% cotton, the egg cozies will be nice and sturdy, but you can also use any other type of yarn) in pink/rose, suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook. Black thread to embroider the nostrils
  • darning needle and scissors
  • 3 mm crochet hook
  • wiggle eyes and super glue
  • a little stuffing for the nose

This infinity scarf is well suited to beginner knitters, as it’s worked in a very simple knit-and-purl pattern. The biggest challenge is joining the stitches to work in the round. Once you’ve managed that, you can’t really go wrong.
The pattern is fully written out, and there’s also a chart for the spiral pattern. Knitted in thick yarn on 8 mm needles, it works up quickly.

You can read more about it here.

This stole is knitted in a simple knit-and-purl pattern as well. You can find it here .

You’ll need thick cotton yarn (170 m per 100 g) and 5.5 mm knitting needles. Yarn usage depends on the desired length; for mine, which is 130 cm long, I used 3 skeins.
There’s a knitting chart for the pattern, but it’s also written out row by row.

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for various styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

And the best part:

  • no gauge swatch (it doesn’t come down to the exact cm),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern includes pictures.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained.
(Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to go with this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is normally usual for hats.
The crochet hook size should match the yarn being used.

Knitted Poncho/Stole, Featherlight - Very Easy

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

This is a short pattern for a featherlight and very easy-to-knit poncho in one size made with just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend yarns without mohair, as mohair yarns are very hard to unravel!!

The pattern includes the preview image.

These knitting skills are enough:
Casting on stitches, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho using thick yarn, 100 g - 100 m, with needle size 8.0. The required amount of yarn is then approx. 700 g. The stitch count always depends on your individual gauge. On the subject of gauge I wrote a blog post (click me); the latest table, matching this pattern, is available here: READ instead of Calculate - PDF Table for Knitting and Crochet

Here you’ll find Ernie and Bernie

Two funny little guys :-)
This pattern is ideal for newcomers to amigurumi. If you already know the most commonly used basic stitches, you’ll have no trouble with Ernie and Bernie. The dolls are crocheted using single crochet stitches, as is the pointed hat. The cap and pants involve half double crochets and double crochets. A few increases and decreases, and the secret behind the strange “noses” is revealed :-)

If you’re crocheting with cotton yarn and a size 3 hook, you’ll need about 115g for one doll and about 60g for the clothes. However, you can use any yarn you like—this will only change the size and the amount of yarn used. You’ll also need some stuffing, a blunt needle, and the eyes.

So grab your hooks!! Have fun crocheting....

Super easy to make, even for beginners: the crochet pattern for the shawl Morgentau.

Wear it as the perfect accessory with a wedding dress, evening wear, for festive occasions, or just because it makes you look beautiful and feel good. ☺
Thanks to its lovely shape, it can be worn as a shawl or even as a cape or poncho.

  • beads for the tassels, if desired
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
Skills needed:
  • single crochet

Especially beginner-friendly, easy to crochet, and they really do use up even the tiniest bits of leftover yarn

The Scrap Flowers!

All layers are crocheted separately (so you don’t have to awkwardly work into barely visible stitches at the back) and are held together simply by a pretty button :-)

An ideal pattern for beginners is the Magnolia Shawl.

Materials:
  • 1,100 meters of gradient-colored yarn, 4-ply
  • 1 size 4 circular knitting needle
  • 1 needle to weave in ends
  •  1 pair of scissors
  • Optional: 4 stitch markers, if you want to mark the spots for increases.

You can also use any other type of yarn for this shawl. This will change the size of the shawl. You’ll knit from the top down, which makes it very easy to adjust the size to your preferences or the amount of yarn you have on hand.

Required skills:

  • Cast on
  • Knit
  • Purl
  • Yarn over
  • Bind off loosely

In this pattern, I’ll also show you a neat edging technique.

I hope you enjoy making this project, and if you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

Crochet pattern Crazy Hornet

--> Here is the pattern

It doesn’t always have to be just cute.....

Most people have respect for hornets, and I do too, especially when they look this angry. The hornet is a perfect gift for men, because as everyone knows, they like the “mean look” and can easily put this hornet in their car.

The hornet can also become the life of the party if you sew it onto a pair of underwear and let the man of your dreams make an appearance with it ;)

Difficulty level: very easy

What you need:
Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m yardage):
  • Yellow approx. 60 g
  • Black approx. 20 g
  • Red approx. 10–15 g
  • White approx. 10 g
  • A little white fabric plus red and black Edding markers for the mouth
  • Glue
  • Crochet hook: 3.5, yarn needle and scissors, and stuffing
What you need to know:

chain stitches, single crochet, magic ring, half double crochet, increasing and decreasing stitches

Have lots and lots of fun making it, and enjoy the admiring looks.

The shawl "Zibba" is a project that can also be made with ease by a beginner knitter. With 130 g of 4-ply sock yarn and size 3.5 mm knitting needles, you can get started right away. Have more yarn? No problem. By adding individual points, you can easily make the shawl larger.

Almost all of my patterns are also suitable for beginners, because the individual steps include lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations. This makes it possible to master even the somewhat more difficult parts.

Here I’d like to introduce you to a few beginner highlights from my shop. To make the patterns, you only need to know the basic stitches.

This loop scarf was crocheted with gradient yarn, a so-called Bobbel. The pattern is simple, but looks beautiful thanks to the color gradient. To crochet it, you need a 3-ply Bobbel with a length of 750 m.

This knitted slouchy hat is well suited for beginners to lace patterns.

Here you can learn more.

You’ll need rather thinner yarn for it—I’ve knitted it several times; sock-weight yarn or something a little thicker works well—and either a set of double-pointed needles or a circular knitting needle, 3.5 mm for the ribbing and 4 mm for the rest.

Perfect for strawberry season!
This gift bag looks very unusual and sophisticated, yet it’s actually very easy to make.

The strawberry bag measures approx. 19.5 x 26.5 x 8 cm, is made from cardstock, and is very well suited even for craft beginners.

What could be nicer for your daughter or granddaughter than wearing a crocheted skirt with a simple design and a comfortable crocheted elastic band? The elastic band is worked into the waistband as you crochet, making it easier for the girl to put on and take off.
  • This pattern is illustrated in detail and suitable for beginners. With it, you can quickly and easily crochet the skirt in all sizes. For this pattern, you should know the following stitches and terms: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitches.
  • Material: depending on the size of the skirt. For my 3-year-old daughter, I used 3 balls (50g/130 m, 60% cotton, 40% acrylic).
Of course, you can also crochet it in the yarn of your choice. Crochet hook size: 3.00.

Here is the pattern

Knitted hat, all sizes – very easy

This knitting pattern is available here - click me

The next winter / the next cool days are sure to come..

Whether for sports and leisure or as a chic city hat.. This hat is quick and very easy to knit – well suited for beginners, since no increases or decreases need to be knitted. A matching scarf in the same style completes the outfit for cool days.

The pattern is detailed and illustrated for all stitches used, and is described for the material listed below for head circumferences from 50 cm to 60 cm. It also explains how to recalculate a gauge so that you can knit with other yarn weights and in all sizes.

Material:
200 g merino yarn, Schulana Capo Nord used here, 100% merino, 100 g – 90 m length, needle size 7 – 9, size 8.0 knitting needles used here,
gauge according to the ball band 12 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
An alternative yarn in this weight would be, for example, MyBoshi No. 3.

We also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, scissors.

Mohair yarns are not recommended for beginners, as they snag and can hardly be unraveled again, so they don't forgive mistakes. Otherwise, you can use pretty much any yarn with the needle size that matches the yarn.

As the name suggests, the Simply Loop is very easy to make.
It consists of a repeating pattern of knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and knitting two stitches together. That’s it—so it knits up very quickly.
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/26527/gestrickter-einfacher-loop-simply-loop

The loop can be adjusted to any size. I used 2 skeins of 50 g each of Noblesse by lanartus, with a yardage of 160 m per 50 g. Dyed by Color loves Wool
It can also be knitted with just 1 skein, in which case it becomes a light summer loop. Noblesse is incredibly soft and pleasant to knit with.
