DIY Kits Put to the Test—You Can Sew This Bag Yourself!

I came across this article yesterday in Brigitte magazine. As far as I can tell, the woman selling these DIY kits isn’t represented on Crazypatterns.

Does anyone actually offer DIY kits like this in their shop? I’m not online here very often, so I sometimes miss new items in the shop.
That should also be good publicity for the seller of the DIY kit if someone takes the time to write an experience report about how it went when they made the project.
The green in the article isn’t really my thing, but to each their own.

Hi Sidney,
for beginners, this is definitely a way to make sewing easier. Personally, I prefer to put together my own fabrics and supplies without any outside help.

Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be for me because I’m not very good at sewing, and I don’t have a sewing machine either. But I do have a very nice bag in dark blue. : )

If I were to sew this, I’d always be worried that it wouldn’t hold up because the seams aren’t sturdy enough—but compliments to those who tried it and managed it.
