A warm hello to everyone!
I’m currently working on a few new patterns. It’s still exciting :)
But since another small wave of flu has hit us again, we first have to get through that! :)
I wish everyone every success and a lovely day.
Best wishes
Right now, I have absolutely no idea what to do first.
I’d love to do 1,000 things at once, but I’m
“OUT OF COMMISSION”
due to tenosynovitis in my right wrist. In any case, the next thing I’ll work on is the project for the color campaign—the yarn is already here, waiting to be used.
Now that the 20 owl charms were delivered today and I’m almost done with my shawl, I’ve got a few ideas again… but which one should I start next????
I think I’ll write them down on slips of paper and then pick one ;-)
And you won’t believe it: I don’t have any UFOs lying around ^^^… just the long-term project for my daughter. But no one can expect a bedspread to be finished right away.... I just keep crocheting on it here and there in between other things.
I still need to weave in the loose ends on the shawl for my little girl. She doesn’t want to receive it stretched. Then the pattern for the “Summer 2017 Color Challenge” is next up. I’ve already bought the yarn, and I already have an idea too. And there’s still a blanket in the UFO box waiting for a border.
If it keeps raining like this where we are, there will definitely be plenty of time for handicrafts.
I’m currently putting together the crochet chart for a blanket. It’s at the very bottom of my list of things I enjoy doing, but it has to be done, and since the blanket is almost finished, it’s time to finish the pattern as well.
Other than that, I was already wondering this morning which of my projects I should work on next. And since it’s raining really nicely here right now, I’ve decided on something summery and am going to crochet a few cheerful, colorful summer animals. I’m guessing aquatic creatures, so they’ll have a chance of survival out there in the puddles.
Well, I was actually planning to clean the house today, iron some laundry, and so on.
But I’ve been having mild stomachaches and circulation issues all day. So I’d rather just stay on the couch and crochet. I’m currently crocheting a baby sleeping bag. Half of it is done. Tomorrow is Thursday, and Thursday is my “use-up-the-leftovers” day. I already have 1–2 ideas for tomorrow, too. :-)
I’m working on a tea light holder, the color challenge project, and finishing up my scattered flowers.
I’m also sketching new outfits for my paper doll, and since I’ve been doing more textile crafts again thanks to lots of very inspiring patterns on CP, I’m slowly knitting booties for my second grandchild, who’s still on the way.
