Crochet Pattern: “Spotlights” Summer Top – 2 Ways to Wear It

--> Get the pattern for all sizes here

This airy summer top is perfect for the beach or for your next evening outfit when paired with a matching camisole and light-colored capri pants. If you extend the main pattern by several repeats, you can also easily turn it into a great beach dress.

Thanks to two snaps, you can wear this top in two different ways. One option has classic straps that come undone at the back and can then be tied at the nape of the neck, turning it into a halter top .

A total of four different patterns are used here. The patterns are fully charted and are also explained in writing, so you can decide whether you want to work from the crochet chart or the written instructions .

Difficulty level : Easy

Required skills :

Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, picot

Yarn:

Approx. 200–300 g of any 4-ply cake yarn – 1000–1500 m length, 2 snaps Recommended hook size: 3.5

If you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

New in my shop: May — strawberry season! Who wouldn’t want to have a little taste? The flower child has certainly already gotten into the strawberries.
So grab it quickly before they’re all gone!
The flower child is about 12 cm tall and has movable limbs, so you can display it in different positions. You can crochet it quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn and wire. A beautiful table decoration, maybe for when you’re having strawberries for dessert?

The guardian owl *Ruhu* has just moved in here. She has a very important job, because she lives as a bodyguard on our doors. Sometimes on the bathroom, sometimes on the restroom, sometimes on the study. This cute owl also spreads good cheer.

You can make her quickly and easily with the 16-page pattern that you’ll find in my shop. In it, I explain every step, largely with photos, so that even beginners with basic crochet skills can manage it wonderfully. Since you only need a little yarn for it, thin leftover cotton yarn is suitable too.

New this May is my crochet pattern for an infinity scarf.

The infinity scarf is easy to crochet; you just need to know chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet. I used a cashmere-mohair blend yarn with a yardage of 88 m per 25 g, but that’s not a must; you can also use many other types of yarn.
You’ll also need a 3.5 mm crochet hook and a darning needle. That’s all you need.

This pretty summer top can be worn wonderfully with a skirt or over pants.

With a little perseverance, you can lengthen it into a dress. The pattern is divided by cup sizes:
  • Cup size A
  • Cup size B - C
  • Cup size D - DD
  • The bust measurement and the length of the top are individually adjusted to the wearer. You can also decide whether you want to wear it as a tank top or as a halter top. There is also a
button placket at the back for a perfect fit.

Click here and you'll go directly to the pattern:
    Materials needed:
    • For cup size B - C and women's size 36/38, I used approx. 800 m of 4-ply yarn
    • For cup size D - DD and women's size 42/44, I used approx. 900 m of 4-ply yarn
    • Crochet hook size 3 + possibly 3.5

If the sun gets too bright at some point, you can catch a few rays with this window decoration and, at the same time, create a soft, pastel-colored glow in your room.

The decoration is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper; each butterfly measures approximately 37 x 36 cm. You can create many more butterflies using different color combinations—or even completely different colors. The pattern on the wings isn’t all that easy to glue on, so this project is best suited for crafters with some experience.

    Shawl “Crazy”
Now I have something really “crazy” for you again. If you’re looking for something unusual that will get noticed, you’ve come to the right place.
The shawl is called Crazy because we knit in blocks and shift them after a few rows. Exactly how it works is explained in detail with written instructions and pictures.
There are 2 versions of this shawl. Version 1 consists only of blocks; version 2 (shown in the picture) is half stripes.
A colorful yarn with a longer gradient is best suited, but brightly colored leftovers or two or more colors worked alternately also look great with this shawl.
Materials and needle size are only suggestions; anything can be used.
It is knitted in garter stitch, and it is really very easy and suitable for beginners.

    Material:
    • 250 - 300 g yarn; the shawl can be knitted as large as you like. (this shawl weighs exactly 230 g)
    • the one used here: Micro Dralon
    • recommended needle size 3 (I used needle size 4)
    • yardage 260 m / 100 g
    • circular knitting needle size 4
    • scissors
    • yarn needle
    Yarn
Any yarn that is not too thick can be used. For example, sock yarn for a very warm shawl. Here I chose a yarn with a somewhat longer color gradient, approx. 4 meters per color section. But I can also very well imagine that each section in a different color would make a very interesting shawl. If you have knitted a beautiful “Crazy” shawl, you are very welcome to send me a photo or post it on Facebook. I am always very excited to see what you create.

    Requirements:
    • cast on stitches (French cast-on)
Tip: Knit the 1st row with twisted stitches; it won’t be as loose as usual and gives a nicer beginning.
    • Knit stitches
    • Bind off

My newest addition is this crocheted cable-pattern scarf. With its vibrant colors, it’s sure to lift your spirits—but if you prefer a more subtle look, just choose different colors.
You’ll need 2 skeins of sock yarn (the large 100g ones) and a 3.5mm crochet hook. There’s a tutorial for the cables that explains how to make them.
The scarf looks exactly the same on both sides.

You can find the pattern here.

This potholder is brand new in my shop,

    Papaya.

It is knitted with thick cotton yarn. I recommend using a needle size slightly smaller than what is indicated on the yarn label. This makes the stitch pattern denser, so you won’t burn your fingers when handling hot pots. A small amount of yarn is enough; I used 40 m for mine.
The pattern is a simple knit-and-purl pattern, well suited even for beginners. It is written out row by row, and there is also a knitting chart.

Freshly fluttered into my little shop: Table Runner "Summer Mood"

The combination of a light butterfly motif and floral ornaments makes the “Summer Mood” table runner an atmospheric eye-catcher on a table, counter, or sideboard. The crochet pattern explains how to make the "Summer Mood" table runner over 11 pages with detailed descriptions, numerous pictures, templates, and crochet charts. Solid basic crochet knowledge is required (see below), but special techniques such as filet crochet from a template and patent double crochet are explained in detail and with pictures.

Once finished and blocked, the table runner measures approx. 100 x 40 cm (cotton yarn with a 2.5 mm hook). The length can be changed by lengthening or shortening the white pattern sections.

    ✿ Required knowledge ✿
    • Crocheting in rows
    • Chain and slip stitches
    • Single crochet and double crochet
    • Weaving in ends

With this modern poncho, you’ll be right on trend; it’s a beautiful eye-catcher and perfect for cool summer evenings. Just slip it on, pull the collar closed if you like, and the weather won’t be able to bother you anymore.

The pattern includes the following 3 size/measurement details:
    • Children ages 8–12
    • Women’s size 36–42
    • Women’s size 44–48/50

The poncho is crocheted in rounds and is definitely manageable for ambitious beginners too.

    Materials needed:
    • For women’s size 36–42, I used approx. 1400 m of 4-ply yarn (for larger/smaller sizes, plan for correspondingly more/less)
    • 2 crochet hooks to match the yarn (sizes 3.5 + 4 were used here)

I made this tea light holder for everyone who loves to surround themselves with flowers all year round. It can be made in every color of the rainbow, with a beautiful color gradient, in a solid color, or in a truly unusual color combination—whatever suits your taste, the occasion, or your other decorations.

The tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and is approximately 13 cm in diameter. It’s very easy to make for crafters with some experience, but thanks to the illustrated instructions, it’s also well suited to beginners.

A wonderful loop with a truly enchanting pattern. You can also crochet a stole—the pattern looks absolutely gorgeous on that, too. The loop is a true all-rounder, as you can also drape it beautifully over your shoulders; with a shawl pin, you’ll have even more options to choose from.

The name “Mystery” comes from the gradient yarn cake I used for this project. In the pattern, you’ll also find the source for this beautiful gradient yarn cake.

Required skills: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, double crochet, treble crochet, post double crochet (explained), and crocheting stitches together.Materials needed: 200g of 3-ply gradient yarn (1000m/200g), or yarn of your choice with a corresponding length; 3.5 and 4 mm crochet hooks; yarn needle; scissors.

    Brand new right now :-)

A must-have for owl fans and an eye-catcher on any table! <3

The pattern is, as always, described in detail, row by row,
richly illustrated, and the charts are also included,
so it’s suitable for beginners too, which is very important to me,
so that even less experienced crocheters can crochet something like this without any problems!

It is crocheted with Schachenmayr Catania and a size 3.0 hook,
you’ll find the exact quantity in the pattern!
With the specified yarn and hook, mine has the following size:
    85x48 cm

    Now have fun crocheting! :-)

Unfortunately, it’s still not really warm in May.

That’s why there’s another new crochet pattern for a loop scarf. Wrapped once, it’s just ideal for these temperatures.

Crocheted with 50 g Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 285 Lace, 50 g / 285 m, my loop measured 24 cm in height and 30 cm in width (measured from left to right). I used a 3.5 mm hook.

Of course, you can also crochet it with any other yarn and in any size. The pattern consists of one row and can be repeated as often as you like.

Brand new in May and just right for early summer, Ennie Strawberry arrives with her little basket full of sweet, juicy strawberries.
You’ll receive a detailed 38-page pattern with plenty of photos to help you recreate the project. The doll is approximately 36 cm tall. The PDF includes patterns for the doll, the dress, the shoes, the panties, as well as the summer hat and the basket with the strawberries.

    Also suitable for ambitious beginners.
