I have something really lovely that all moms would be happy about. Even if they don’t like to admit it, sometimes their wrists do hurt ... from housework, from crafting, or because the joints are already a bit ailing (osteoarthritis & co.). That’s when wrist warmers made from genuine cashmere wool are a true treat for the joints.

The Deluxe Wrist Warmers pamper the wrists beautifully with their wonderfully soft, cozy yarn. The luxurious yarn is made of 70% cashmere, 25% silk, and 5% extra-fine merino. It gently caresses and warms strained, overworked, or pain-sensitive wrists and protectively wraps tendons and muscles. A true comfort you won’t want to be without. You can knit them for mom, mother-in-law, or yourself.

Materials:

  • Approx. 12–15 g “Superior” by Filatura di Crosa (color of your choice, amount varies by size; there are 4 sizes)
  • 1 set of double-pointed needles (5 needles), size 2, 15 cm long
  • Darning needle, ruler, scissors
The pattern is very well suited for knitting beginners who can already knit with a set of double-pointed needles or want to learn. I explain and show everything in precise detail.

--> Click here and you’ll go directly to the pattern.

I wish you lots of joy knitting, giving them as gifts, and enjoying them yourself.
Best wishes from "Ina strickt"

The “Herzblatt” table runner is a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day or for other people close to your heart. But it’s also perfect as a decoration for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. It’s truly a labor of love.

This crochet pattern explains how to make the “Herzblatt” table runner with detailed instructions, plenty of pictures, and diagrams. Since only basic crochet skills are required (see below), the table runner is a great project for crochet beginners . Additional techniques (filet crochet, raised double crochet) are described in detail in the pattern.

Once completed, the table runner measures approximately 75 x 33 cm (using cotton yarn and a size 2.5 hook).

Required Skills

  • Crocheting in rows
  • Chain stitches and slip stitches
  • Single crochet and double crochet
  • Weave in ends
Difficulty level: Easy

Materials needed

  • Cotton yarn in burgundy (approx. 150 g) and natural (approx. 15 g)
  • A crochet hook in the appropriate size
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • A blunt sewing needle and a pair of scissors

Mother’s Day is always easier than Father’s Day,
but you can also come up with something funny for Father’s Day,
e.g. Mr. Blaumeise, along with accessories such as barbecue tongs, a beer glass, a hat, a medal, and a worm.
Mr. Meise is about 18 cm tall when standing and 12 cm tall when sitting.
He was crocheted with a 2.5 mm hook

https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/13888/die-blaumeise-das-geschenk-fuer-den-mann-z-b-fuer-vatertag-gehaekelt-von-dadade

For Mother’s Day, there are some lovely decorative picks for a bouquet of flowers or orchids,
such as the cockatoo,
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/14940/blumen-orchideen-stecker-kakadu-nicht-nur-fuer-muttertag-gehaekelt-von-dadade

or the macaw and dragonfly are also available.
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/15016/blumen-orchideen-stecker-ara-der-papagei-gehaekelt-von-dadade

Whether with or without an orchid, this is the gift that makes every woman’s heart skip a beat. The cockatoo is approximately 14 cm tall and has a wingspan of 15 cm. It was crocheted

with a size 2 hook. Leftover yarn works great for this, as do beads or sequins if desired
—anything you have

in your craft stash. Difficulty level: best suited for experienced crocheters (or experienced beginners) and for craft enthusiasts who enjoy working with beads a little bit.

And since we were already talking about the softest wool in the world and it will soon be pampering our moms’ wrists, I’d like to show you the yarn again in another design. Our moms will like and love this one too.

Many women are sensitive around the neck and quickly feel a draft. Anyone who tends to have muscle tension in the cervical spine and shoulder area knows the problem. You need a shawl made of wool! But shawls are often too heavy, too thick, too warm, too impractical, or they itch.

If you want something feather-light yet pleasantly warm and cuddle-soft, I recommend the "Loop Federleicht". Yes, I know the yarn is expensive, but it is the softest yarn I know. It is made of 70% cashmere, 25% silk, and 5% extra-fine merino. It caresses and pampers the skin with every tiny movement.

For Mother’s Day, you can also give chocolates and bouquets of flowers, but do they really need those? A cuddle-soft loop like this is simply something precious that will pamper them for years.

Material:
  • 50 g "Superior" by Filatura di Crosa"
  • Circular knitting needle size 3 (60 or 80 cm long)
  • Crochet hook size 3
---> Click here and you’ll go directly to the pattern!

The knitting pattern is expressly also suitable for knitting beginners .
I wish you lots of joy knitting, giving, and pampering your moms.

Best wishes from "Ina strickt"

They can be made in any size using the included size chart,
my example is in size 38/39.
Materials:Bamboo yarn (50% polyacrylic / microfiber and 50% bamboo)
50g white
50g mottled
Yardage: 50g/145m
2 sets of 2.5 mm double-pointed needles

A little pouch with hearts as a good-luck charm is always a nice touch and is sure to bring joy. It’s quick to knit using leftover sock yarn—you’ll need 45 meters in red and a little less in gray (or any color you like)—and a set of 2.5mm double-pointed needles. The hearts are shown in a knitting chart.

This shawl in brioche stitch is not only elegant, but also very relaxing to knit and, later on, very comfortable to wear—for example, outdoors on cool spring evenings.
For it, you’ll need a fairly thin cotton yarn (my original yarn had a yardage of 329 m per 100 g) and 3.5 mm knitting needles. If you’ve never knitted brioche stitch before, the technique is explained in a tutorial.
A special gift for Mother’s Day.

You can find the pattern here.

A scented pillow like this is quick to make and is perfect as a little “gift” for Mother’s Day!
It also looks great in a walk-in closet, on the sofa, or on a windowsill—and it leaves a lovely scent, too.

The finished pillow measures approximately 24 x 23 cm .

This little door wreath with roses and a heart border makes a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Mom is sure to love it! The wreath has a diameter of 12 cm, making it suitable as a window decoration as well. It was crocheted using Catania by Schachenmayr (125 m / 50 g) — just a few scraps will do.
The crochet pattern (difficulty level: easy) includes many pictures and describes each step in detail. So you can crochet this pretty decorative piece in no time. Get started right away!

Dads shouldn’t be forgotten either! People often give a bottle of something good. If you put it in this little pig cover, you’ll have not only an original gift wrap but also wish them “good luck” at the same time.
The pig is crocheted using single crochet stitches. You’ll need 2 balls of pink cotton yarn (Catania, 125 m / 50 g), 3.0 mm crochet hooks, a little stuffing, googly eyes, and glue.
And you can find the pattern here.

Crochet pattern for the Sunset Shawl

--> Here you can find my pattern

Mothers are always happy to receive handmade gifts from their children, no matter their age. So how about a beautiful shawl that can also be loosely tied around the hips in summer. It not only looks dreamily beautiful, but can also rival any sunset

This version is relatively pointed and elongated, but of course you can also crochet it wider if you like, which I also explain in my pattern. In this case, it is better to use a yarn cake with 1000 m of yardage. Everything is a matter of taste, after all

The pattern includes a crochet chart as well as written explanations, making it suitable for everyone

Difficulty level
: Easy

What you need:

Approx. 160-200 g of any yarn cake – 4-ply – 800-1000 m yardage, recommended hook size 3.5 Size: 2.10 x 1.15 meters (160 g yarn cake)

To get the sunset effect, a matching gradient yarn cake is recommended.

What you need to know:

Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, picot

A beautiful crocheted scarf is an ideal Mother’s Day gift.

The beads incorporated into the lovely Peara scarf add that special finishing touch. But even without beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its design, it drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. The pattern is beginner-friendly and crochets up very quickly.

The scarf’s length and width can be adjusted, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.
It looks especially beautiful when made with a gradient yarn, such as 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.
Size after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm

Materials needed:
  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • Crochet hook appropriate for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use a larger size)
  • Beads (e.g., rocailles—the hole should be large enough so that it
  • doesn’t sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for threading the beads
  • Sewing needle for finishing
This scarf is perfect for beginners to make, as it consists almost entirely of double crochets and chain stitches.

The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial on how to crochet the beads along the edge and into the flower pattern, a written version, and charts.

Difficulty level: easy.

How about a beautiful, hand-crocheted strawberry door wreath for the dearest mom in the world!
With this wreath, you’ll welcome spring into your home. ;)

The wreath can be used as a door, wall, or window decoration. It also works very well as a table decoration, without the vines.

Also well-suited for beginners

Required skills:
The pattern does not include a beginner’s tutorial. You should already know how to work single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet stitches, as well as chain and slip stitches.

For Mother's Day and Father's Day, handmade items are of course always a great gift idea, because handmade work always has a whole lot of love in it.

I'd like to show you a few projects you can crochet:
____________________
A heart for Mother's Day is, of course, a classic. You can hang up this heart, but also decorate with it lying down or standing up. A flower is sewn onto the front of the heart, and on the back the heart has a border where you can put flowers, for example.
Crochet pattern - Crochet a flower heart

____________________
This colorful pillow is also a lovely gift idea. You can use it for decorating as well as for cuddling. You can choose the colors entirely according to your taste, or to Mom's and Dad's taste.
Crochet pattern - Crochet a "Smile" pillow

____________________
Almost all women like scented candles. So how about these lanterns? You can burn scented candles or tealights in them beautifully. The colorful crocheted jars then create just the right atmosphere.
