Are crochet tops comfortable in the summer? (no advertising)

My question for you: Do you find crocheted tops and blouses comfortable in the summer?

Hey there,

There’s nothing better than crochet tops for summer! In fact, I wear them all year round.

Well, I guess it depends on the yarn you use, but with the right yarn, there’s nothing better for me.

I especially like to make summer clothes with microfiber and even more so with bamboo yarn.
That way, the tops are nice and light.

On cooler days, I wear a fitted long-sleeved shirt under my tops and maybe even a thin jacket over them. It always looks great, is always comfortable, and is never too warm or too cold.

For me, crochet tops are definitely an absolute favorite all year round!

I couldn’t agree with you more.

I also much prefer homemade tops in the summer. I’ve knitted and crocheted a few out of cotton with lots of openwork patterns.

When it’s really hot, I just don’t sweat as much in them—they absorb moisture well.

In short—I love my tops in the summer.

I think crocheted tops made from fine yarns, linen, or linen blends are great—they look feminine, and you can crochet beautiful lace patterns with them. Using a 1.5 to 2 mm crochet hook is ideal...
