Making it weatherproof

Hi,
I crocheted a door wreath and would like to make it weatherproof if possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do that?

I have a “fabric waterproofing and stiffening solution.” This mixture has the consistency of white glue. It makes the crocheted piece sturdy, similar to plastic. It’s also supposed to make it waterproof.
Different companies may call it by different names. I got mine at a craft store.

ich bestreiche meine Türkränze immer mit Bastelleim, mit etwas Wasser verdünnt, er wird durchsichtig beim Aushärten, hat bis jetzt immer top funktioniert.
