Shop Spotlight: kreatives-stricken

Hello everyone,

Since I’m new to Crazypatterns, I’d like to briefly introduce myself here. My name is Christiane; I’m a mom of two girls (ages 3.5 and 2.5) and have been knitting and crocheting since I was in kindergarten. Even back then, I started using my needles to design little things, like simple bags. For a few years after that, I knitted nothing but socks, always using a different pattern so it wouldn’t get boring. When my children were born, I discovered a love for baby fashion. Eventually, I opened my own shop. People kept asking me for patterns for my products, but my notes weren’t legible to customers ;-).
In May 2013, I started writing patterns based on my products—ones that are easy for beginners to follow but not too boring for more advanced knitters. Little by little, I added more and more patterns. I’m especially proud of my Lederhosen and dirndl patterns, for example. And as is often the case once you get started, the ideas just keep coming. I already have my next projects in mind ;-). So there’s always something new to discover here.
I’d love it if you stopped by my shop sometime—maybe you’ll find a pattern you like ;-).

That’s a lovely introduction you’ve written. I wish you lots of fun here in the forum and lots of success selling your patterns on Crazypatterns. Baby clothes and socks are always in high demand. Lederhosen and dirndls aren’t really my thing, but I’ll take a look so I can join in the conversation :)

Thank you very much for your welcome! Of course, it depends on the region ;-). We live near Straubing in Bavaria, where the Gäubodenvolksfest starts on Friday, and traditional attire is a must even for the very youngest ;-). Since it’s difficult to buy in small sizes, I thought, why not knit it...
... and nothing beats warm feet ;-).
