Dear users, dear authors,
Everyone needs relaxation. Especially after a stressful day, distraction and taking a break are important. Crafting is a wonderful way to do that. Here in this thread you’ll find straightforward patterns that are easy to make on the side without having to count stitches, etc.

@Authors,
please present simple patterns without complicated details here. Leftover-yarn patterns can also be presented here.
2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Link and image, material info, difficulty level info, technique info, and details about what makes the pattern special must not be missing.

The pattern for the knitted Sador loop makes for a relaxing evening of knitting.

This loop is easy to make in many yarn weights. Even in DK weight, you get a great result. The size can be adjusted individually, as can the yarn usage. The loop is also very well suited for using up leftovers and working with different yarn weights. There are no limits to your creativity!

Materials needed:

  • approx. 100–200 g yarn (up to max. DK weight)
  • 2 circular knitting needles in 80 or 100 cm length with at least a half needle-size difference (for lace yarn, I recommend needle sizes 3 and 3.5)
  • tape measure
  • digital kitchen scale or other precision scale
  • stitch markers
There is no prescribed number of stitches for the loop. You need a gauge swatch to calculate the required number of stitches.
The pattern is 5 pages long and includes many examples for using different yarns.

The loop uses almost only knit stitches, so it’s also super easy for beginners to make!

Super relaxing - crochet pattern & knitting pattern:

Soul warmer and cuffs - crocheted to look knitted - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - quick and easy - also for beginners.

Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is popular all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or on the couch in winter.

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cuddly soft. But knitters will enjoy it too. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is detailed and illustrated over 23 pages and contains both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

The stitches used are explained with pictures. So general crochet or knitting skills are sufficient.

Basically, you can use any yarn you like. However, the amount of yarn can vary a great deal depending on your yarn choice and needle/hook size. Details are included in the pattern.

My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m,
according to the label for needle size 3 – 4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

  • for the soul warmer approx. 500 g in the crochet version (approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needles size 6.0),
  • for the cuffs approx. 100 g in both versions
I hope you have lots of fun making it and feel truly cozy in the finished piece.

Material
  • ONline Cora
  • Häkelandel 4,5
  • Nähnadel
  • Schere
  • Kissenbezug
  • Füllwatte
Was wird gehäkelt
  • Luftmaschen
  • Kettmaschen
  • Stäbchen

Und hier geht es zur Anleitung

knitting a summer loop scarf with circular needles size 6 is very interesting and at the same time
very relaxing, especially the finishing row is a surprise!

you get to do something that is usually a mistake in knitting: drop stitches!
knitted from cotton ribbon yarn, it goes with many outfits in spring,

the pattern is very easy and simple to follow:

This heart, which you can use as a small cushion cover (e.g. for a grain pillow) or as a potholder, is easy to crochet while doing something else. Since the increases and decreases in the pattern are very regular, you only need to look at the pattern from time to time. The popcorn stitch isn’t difficult at all and is explained in detail; the back is crocheted entirely in single crochet. The cushion will measure 20 cm x 20 cm if you use potholder yarn.

My scarf "Poesia" is very easy and relaxing to knit. It’s especially well suited for sock yarn with long color gradients, but of course it can also be knitted with other yarns. It has tapered ends and is knitted diagonally. Once you get into the pattern, it practically works up by itself.
You’ll need one 100g skein of sock yarn, 2 knitting needles, and possibly a stitch marker.

Go to the pattern here.

Who says knitted pieces can't be elegant?
Far from it! This long top is the perfect companion for any candlelight dinner or visit to the opera!

The pattern is kept simple, so this knitted piece is easy to work on while doing something else.
The special cut and the slit at the back create the effect!

This pattern is designed for sizes 36/38 and 40/42.
However, the included cut and gauge make it possible to make any size!

A detailed chart also guides you through joining the back and front pieces.

For the weekend, I can recommend this costume for all dress-up dolls. It can be crocheted quickly and easily with single crochet stitches. The costume doesn’t necessarily have to be made with brown yarn.
