Crochet pattern Umbi, the handyman mouse (50 cm tall)

Are you looking for a very special mouse? Then Umbi, the handyman, might be just right for you. Umbi is approx. 50 cm tall and can also be used wonderfully as a money gift if you want to bring joy to a good friend.

Thanks to the 25-page pattern with lots of pictures, even crochet beginners can easily crochet Umbi and adapt him to their own needs (colors). What you'll need:

Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m length):

• Gray approx. 150 g
• White approx. 20–30 g
• Black 10 g
• Blue approx. 100 g
• Yellow approx. 60–70 g
• Red approx. 5 g
• Red Edding marker for the tongue
• Thick pencil for shading
• 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors
• Stuffing material and 2 buttons

What you need to know:

• MR = magic ring
• st = stitch
• sc = single crochet
• ch = chain stitch
• hdc = half double crochet
• tog. = together
• inc. = increase stitch
• FLO = crochet in front loop
• BLO = crochet in back loop

Lena the Bookworm loves reading more than anything. Most of all, she loves reading to her children from a book.

Using the specified materials, Lena the Bookworm measures 27 cm tall when seated. The pattern for the children is, of course, included too. Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumi and cuddly toys.

Here comes the mouse.... Oh, come on! That mouse was yesterday’s news.... here comes Maggie ;-)

Maggie stands about 45 cm tall and will win every heart at a mouse’s gallop.
Chain stitches, single crochet, and the occasional double crochet. About 100g of yarn and a size 3 crochet hook. Some stuffing and two eyes. That’s all there is to it. Quick and easy to make.

A crochet pattern for a little mouse. Explained in detail, so it’s also suitable for crochet beginners. Depending on the yarn used, the mouse will be approximately 40 cm tall when finished. Protected by copyright! This pattern is for private use only. Sale, publication, and reproduction of this pattern are prohibited and will be prosecuted! For this project, you’ll need: A size 2–2.5 crochet hook, a darning needle or a doll needle for sewing the body parts together, a stitch marker or a thread in a contrasting color to mark the beginning of the rounds, buttons or beads for the eyes, approx. 10 mm (I used lens-shaped beads), scissors, yarn in gray (approx. 250 g, 50 g/115 m), and pink (approx. 50 g). You’ll need to know how to do the following: Single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch. You can also work with other colors and yarn combinations. Just make sure to use a smaller hook than the one specified by the manufacturer on the label. • Yarn approx. 25 g in the main color the mouse should have (gray in my case), suitable for a 4 mm crochet hook, a little leftover yarn for the eyes, nose, and whiskers, as well as a little leftover yarn for the inside of the ear (pink in my case)
