Dear users, dear authors,
This thread is dedicated to everything that flies: birds, butterflies, flying insects, airplanes, and flying objects of all kinds in general. It’s worth checking back often. We have many models that are perfect for “taking off.” Butterflies, birds, and insects are, of course, also a great fit for spring. Have fun recreating them.

@Authors:
Only authors who sell exclusively on CP and have signed the corresponding contract are allowed to present their patterns for birds and everything that flies here in this exclusive promotional thread. If you haven’t signed the contract (yet), but plan to become an exclusive seller
and would like to advertise here in this thread, please send me a
private message. If you’re an exclusive seller and have signed the contract, you can post all

Who doesn’t love these cute little fluttering creatures?
These budgies require just a tiny bit of work (which, thanks to the detailed, illustrated step-by-step pattern, even beginners can complete quickly and easily) and cause neither mess nor noise afterward...
Plus, they’re real eye-catchers, make great gifts, and more...

A little bee that doesn’t sting and always looks cheerful. It looks right at home, for example, as a flower pick, as a little extra with a jar
of honey, or on the windowsill among the flowers. The pattern is beginner-friendly :-)

Here’s Fips, the pterosaur!
Well, I know there’s a rumor going around that we’re already extinct, but as you can see, that’s not quite true. You can find us in children’s rooms and on shelves, flying from mobiles and in children’s hands. And most importantly: we’re beautifully colorful. So dig into that box of leftover yarn and start crocheting! I’m about 20 cm tall from my feet to the tip of my crest. The PDF pattern is 14 pages long with 32 pictures and explains in detail how to make the pterosaur.

With this little airplane on your backpack, the walk to preschool is twice as much fun! Your friends will definitely want one soon, too. No problem! You only need a little time and a little yarn. Maybe you’d like to crochet several of them right away as giveaways for a kids’ birthday party. Or how about turning them into a mobile for the kids’ room?

Spring is coming, and soon the bees will be here too. You can crochet your own now and take them with you everywhere. To keep them from flying away, attach them to your keychain or backpack :-)

The two are 6 and 8 cm tall, and you’ll need:
leftover cotton yarn 125 m/50 g in yellow, white, black,
fiberfill, 3.0 mm crochet hook,
6 mm safety eyes (eyes can also be embroidered),
key ring

Here’s the pattern

Here’s the pattern

Now they’re finally flying—the little cockatiels.
Thanks to the elaborately illustrated step-by-step pattern, even beginners will find crocheting these funny little fellows easy.
A print version without pictures has also been included.

How about this funny little fellow?

Pino is a totally crazy, clumsy, and colorful bird of paradise . He’s gobbled up so much leftover yarn that he’s become completely unable to fly.
So, are you up for it? So if
you also have plenty of colorful leftover yarn, here’s a way to use some of it up ;)

Once finished, Pino will be about 32 cm tall (when using the specified hook size and yarn weight). You’ll receive a detailed 20-page pattern with plenty of photos to help you follow along.
