Crochet Cardigan 0–3 mo. (3–6 mo.)

Dear Gabi, I bought the pattern for the sweet little cardigan. Now I would like to crochet it for my 2-year-old granddaughter. Can I simply scale it up in the same steps as you calculated in the pattern for 3 mo. and 6 mo., or could you give me some guidance on how I should calculate it? Thank you in advance for your help.
