Crocheting a ponchito = a cross between a poncho and a bolero? (not an ad)

Dear users, dear authors,
I saw a pattern for a crocheted ponchito in the shop.
To me, it looks like a normal poncho cut in half that, instead of reaching down to the waist or hips, is only the length of a little bolero jacket.
What do you think? Would a ponchito be a good alternative to a poncho or a little bolero jacket for you?

That’s my thinking behind a ponchito... For me personally, it’s important, first of all, that it doesn’t get in the way—for example, when shopping—and second, in its short form, it accentuates the figure rather than hiding it. And with this short style, you can still throw a warm jacket over it in winter without anything peeking out from the bottom.

Mir gefällt der auch. In letzter Zeit habe ich auch immer wieder einmal solche und ähnliche im "echten Leben" gesehen, vielleicht wird's ja die Nachfolge zum großen Poncho-Trend.

Ich finde Alinas Ponchito auch toll, weiß aber aus leidiger Erfahrung (Selbstversuch ;-)), dass die Länge bei mir alles andere als schmeichelhaft ist, weil sie genau über der Oberweite endet. Für mich käme also eine längere oder kürzere Variante in Frage – ich bin, hummm, nun ja, sagen wir mal (drucks herum) nicht so schlank wie Alina ;-) Und bei ihr sieht's fantastisch aus!
