I really enjoy making dragon tail shawls! And you can incorporate almost any pattern.

Here, I’d like to introduce you to Medusa, which gives the classic half granny pattern a fresh new look.

This shawl isn’t tied to any specific yardage or yarn. It looks especially striking with gradient yarn. However, you can also use a solid-colored yarn of your choice.

Ideal for beginners who want to learn to crochet, as you’ll quickly get into a rhythm. Plus, the pattern is forgiving of small mistakes.

What do you need to know?
  • Chain stitches
  • Double crochet
  • Slip stitches
The pattern is written out and includes a complete electronic crochet chart. Even if you’ve just started crocheting, you’ll be able to follow the pattern with ease!

Here’s what’s included:
  • Suitable for beginners
  • Written crochet pattern
  • Complete electronic crochet chart
Here’s what you’ll need at home:
  • 1 skein of 500 m 3-ply gradient yarn from Garnstube in the color “December 2016”
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Wool needle

My Sognidora is similar to a dragon tail.

The shawl is knitted from the side and is quite easy to make, so even less experienced knitters should be able to manage it.

The yardage and color can be varied easily. However, a yarn cake works best.

The pattern is written out row by row.

Material:
„Träumerei“ – by MaggieP – Wolltraeume, yardage 500 m, 4-ply, proportionally wound with lots of turquoise,
circular knitting needle size 4.5 mm

Size of the lightly stretched shawl with these materials: approx. 205 x 60 cm

There is also a matching pattern for wrist warmers or a hat. All three patterns are also available together in one collection.
