The first signs of spring are already here....Flowers that never wilt

Why wait for spring? With some wool or yarn, safety eyes, stuffing, pipe cleaners, and a little time, you can bring spring into your home. The little figures are about 15–20 cm tall, depending on the materials you use...

Snowdrops and bluebells are two flower children that will put you in a spring mood right away. They are about 13 cm tall, hold their namesake flowers in their hands, and have movable limbs so that you can arrange them in different positions. Displayed together with real spring flowers, they look especially pretty on a seasonal table, for example.
The richly illustrated step-by-step pattern is 18 pages long. All you need is basic crochet knowledge.

By the way: More flower children will follow...

This tulip bouquet brings spring into your home—even if you still have to wait a little longer for real tulips.

In addition to photo cardstock, I used construction paper and crepe paper, along with aluminum wire for the stems. The tulips are about 34 cm tall and easy to make, even for beginners with a little crafting experience.

This colorful pillow featuring a large water lily is sure to be admired and marveled at. It can find a spot in a child’s room or outside on a garden bench. It’s crocheted in two pieces that are fastened together with 16 colorful crocheted ball buttons. This makes the cover washable.

Materials:

  • 300 g of cotton yarn in four different colors (e.g., “Catania” by Schachenmayr or “Bingo Linie 163” by ONline) or the affordable Bravo yarn
  • Size 3 crochet hook
  • Approx. 20 g of stuffing for the center of the flower and to fill the buttons.

Over 36 pages , I’ll describe and show you in great detail—with plenty of close-up photos —exactly how to crochet this pillow. Step by step , you’ll create this gorgeous water lily pillow. The crochet pattern is easy for beginners to follow, as I explain and demonstrate everything very clearly. For experienced crocheters, a detailed crochet chart for the flower and the buttons is included.

I hope you enjoy crocheting it—Yours, Ina

Brand new: another flower child: the catkin, the first sign of spring. No Easter decoration is complete without a catkin. Here it is reinterpreted in a completely new way.
You can crochet it very quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn. An eye-catcher on your seasonal table.

Floral jewelry, taken literally—here as jewelry for little and grown-up princesses.

In the pattern, you’ll find detailed descriptions of how to turn the little flowers into a ring, a necklace, and a bracelet.
And a flower garland is also a lovely decoration for spring.

You’ll need a size 2.5 crochet hook and matching leftover yarn.
You should know how to make chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, and double crochet.

You can also decorate windows, for example, with these floral window garlands .

They’re very easy to make and can even be crafted together with children.
The garland elements are cut out of cardstock and attached to an organza ribbon. The length and number of elements are adjustable and can easily be adapted to your specific circumstances.

This little flower basket is already perfect for spreading some spring cheer. And for Easter, just swap out the flowers for Easter grass and add two or three pretty decorated Easter eggs—and your Easter basket is ready.

The flower basket is made of cardstock and measures approximately 14 x 21 x 19 cm. The flowers are made of cardstock and crepe paper. Both the basket and the flowers are very easy to make.

Lily of the Valley Pot

******************************************************************************************************************************************

May is a month when things like this happen: buds become blossoms and make children’s hearts laugh. Trees turn green in a lush forest of leaves, the world transforms, changes its shape. It is like a beginning, a new start. It is part of life, of the cycle of being; be aware, keep still, hold on. May has its very own special meaning.
With this lily of the valley flowerpot, you can have May in your room all year round. Decorative and beautiful to look at.
Also very suitable as a little hostess gift or present with a “WOW” effect.
The pot will be approx. 25 cm tall.
With the ten-page step-by-step pattern, even beginners with basic knowledge of stitch types (chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and treble crochet) will achieve a good result.
A free pattern for a flowerpot in two designs is also included.

You can crochet beautiful, colorful flower hangers, for example for an Easter bouquet or the window, very quickly with this easy pattern:

https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/24263/haekelanleitung-blueten-blumen-mit-blatt-primel-applikation-tischdeko-aufhaenger

You will need any leftover yarn in bright spring colors, a suitable crochet hook, scissors, and a yarn needle for weaving in the yarn ends.
For this, I used cotton with a yardage of 125 m/50 g, such as Schachenmayr Catania.

The pattern includes lots of pictures and is also easy for beginners to crochet.

The following basic skills should be known:

magic ring (alternatively, 2 chain stitches also work),
chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches, color changes

Have fun making it.
Best, Sarah

Fresh from the Flima nursery :-)
The Amaryllis

It blooms in a thousand colors, and with this pattern, soon in your favorite colors too.
It requires no complicated care and is a real eye-catcher. A dream gift, a beautiful decoration.
*************************************************************************************************
The pattern includes the complete plant and is written without a flower pot. For the flower bowl, you can download my free Flower Bowl pattern.
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/16481/mehrzweckschale

The amount of material needed is small, so leftover yarn in your favorite colors is also suitable. In addition, you will need:
  • florist wire,
  • wrapping wire
  • green crepe tape
  • a little stuffing for the bulb,
***********************************************************************************************

And so your amaryllis can touch the sunlight very soon, just click here.
