Floral patterns are in (not an ad thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
floral patterns, floral prints, and anything with flowers on it is in style. There’s even velvet with flowers on it. I assume that floral patterns are—or will become—important in the world of handicrafts as well. Who likes to incorporate floral patterns into their crafts or patterns?
Why do you like floral patterns? Who doesn’t like floral patterns? Which flowers work best for floral patterns, and which ones just don’t work at all?
