Wednesday: The weekend is almost here (no advertising thread)

the week is almost over already—the weekend is just around the corner. Just hang in there and keep going. :-)
Today is going to be a good day. Relaxed, with sunshine of course, and just all-around wonderful. Along with more sunshine, I’ve also ordered up plenty of good cheer.

I really should be focusing on dance descriptions, beats, step sequences, and music (for my dance instructor training), buuuut… here I am, stuck here again… lol.
Even though I’ve been here for a few months now, I find something new almost every day, and then suddenly a lot of time has flown by.

But now my purple potatoes are waiting to end up in a salad.

Good morning, everyone!

Even though I’m off work today, I’m still having a very busy day. I’ve taken care of a bunch of household chores and walked the dog.

Now I’m treating myself to a break—crocheting my winter scarf and waiting for the repairman.

After that, I’ll head to the auto repair shop, pick up a package at DHL, and walk the dog again.

If I’m not ready for the couch by then, hopefully I’ll be able to finish my scarf today...

Well, the sun is really trying its best here, but it looks like the clouds are winning out again.

I’ve made a firm resolution today to write up the patterns for everything I’ve worked on so far. That needs to be done. I’m working hard on it, but I end up rewriting more than I’m actually writing from scratch. I want to make sure it’s really understandable for everyone.

In the evening, I’d like to play cards with my daughter again. My son is sitting this one out for now—his book is too exciting.
And as soon as the kids are in bed, I’ll grab my crochet hook and finish the hat for my friend today. It’s really not going smoothly, but nothing beats giving it a try.

Over here, the sun is also battling the clouds—at least it’s not as cold as it was this morning (-13°)—but I’m afraid it’s going to lose the battle.
I could really use the weekend to start already—my job is more stressful than usual right now, and I’ve had to work some overtime, which of course means everything else is getting neglected...
I have to head out soon and hope it doesn’t get too late, so I can still crochet a few rounds on the couch tonight to relax.

Well, I’m off for the day.  It was a totally annoying day, but time flew by.
My husband isn’t home tonight, which means I’ll have to cook for myself in a bit. I really don’t feel like it, but I’m hungry. And then I’ll try to crochet myself a hat. I bought some yarn on sale. I didn’t have enough yarn for attempt #1, and attempt #2 turned out ugly. Let’s see how #3 turns out.
