Dear users, dear authors,
today is a good day. Today is a great day to get a lot of things done. It’s going to be great. What’s on your to-do list? How are you doing? What are you up to? What have you already worked on today? Who’s sick? Who’s tired? Who’s feeling better again? What’s new?
Let me know.
Have a great Tuesday
I’ve ordered a few rays of sunshine for each of you to warm you up—both physically and emotionally, of course.
I saw a beautiful sunrise on my way to the supermarket today. Now I’m going to quickly take care of the housework and then enjoy my three days off. On the way, I even had an idea for a new crochet pattern—I’ll quickly sketch that out.
@Josefa
Thanks so much for the rays of sunshine. :-)
I have a driving lesson in a minute and just took our Flocke out for a quick walk. She doesn’t like going out in the cold any more than I do. But you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do, so we just quickly took care of “business.” After my driving lesson,
I’ll be back to working on the computer.
Josefa, wherever you ordered the sun from, it’s shining beautifully here in Basel. As far as I can see, the sky is deep blue. Absolutely gorgeous. Today it’s physiotherapy, as always the housework, and then I’ll start crocheting.
Unfortunately, the sun somehow hasn’t reached me. It’s even snowing.
Oh well. After complaining yesterday about not having enough stress, I’m covering for a colleague tonight and now have another 2.5 hours that still need to be squeezed into the regular schedule today. :-D
But since it’s pool supervision, it’s not so bad. I’ll just add an extra dose of exercise.
Best wishes and have a lovely day, everyone
Birgit
This morning was our first dance practice after the Christmas break, which was longer than usual for the first time. Still, all the dances went relatively well.
We’re a DRK senior dance group—24 women and one man—and our combined age is around 2020 years. And at 60, I’m still the “youngest” one… haha.
In May, we’ll be celebrating our 30th anniversary. As the future dance instructor, I’m involved in planning our celebration, so my handicrafts have to take a back seat for a bit.
I hope everyone has a day as sunny as mine.
Warm regards, Marlies
Thanks for the sunny wishes. Unfortunately, the sun hasn’t reached us yet, but then again, I do live in that gray city by the sea :)
Yesterday was a terrible day for me. A neighbor of mine passed away. There was a lot of commotion in the stairwell, and when I went outside to see what was going on, I witnessed this sad scene :( And when the hearse pulled up outside, that was the end of my day. I wasn’t really able to do much.
But today I’m feeling better again, and I’m going to use the time to crochet some lovely things.
Well, the sunshine seems to have gotten stuck somewhere along the way—here it’s gray and gloomy and extra cold.
We’ve had a quiet day so far.
Still, I’m taking my youngest to school to register him. He’s one of those “in-between” kids… his birthday is just two days after the cutoff date… we’ll see :-)
And on the side, I’ve finished up a few things today, and to relax, I’m continuing to crochet the Entrelac blanket for my daughter—I’m slowly figuring out how it works :-) since I crochet very tightly.
Hi everyone,
I’m done for the day now. I caught a glimpse of the sun here and there today. I’m off work now and on my way home. I hope my husband’s cooking—I’m hungry :-) In a bit, I’ll either do some crocheting or cut out some fabric. I haven’t decided yet, and later, of course, I’ll watch “I’m a Celebrity” :-) It’s so bad this year, but there’s rarely anything good on at 10:15 p.m.
