What does that mean??

Normally, this means: "Increase 2 stitches."

Is this about crocheting? In that case, it means that instead of crocheting one stitch into the next 2 stitches, you crochet 2 stitches into each stitch. You’ll then have 4 stitches instead of 2.

If that doesn’t make sense in this particular case—because it’s completely illogical or something—you can ask the author of the pattern; they’ll surely be happy to help you :)

2 M verdop = double 2 stitches, as far as I know. I'm sure the pros will add something else about it too.
