Storage bag for bike helmets (not an ad thread)

Good morning. 
My husband would like a storage bag for our bike helmets. So one for each helmet. I was thinking of making a kind of gym bag with a drawstring. I wanted to make the cord with a knitting spool. 
Or does anyone have a better idea?

I think it mainly depends on what your husband has in mind.
The drawstring bag option is definitely the simplest one.
Otherwise, there are plenty of other bag ideas here on crazypatterns.
