How old are you, anyway? (not a promotional thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
I’d like to know what the average age is here on the forum. If you don’t want to give an exact number, you can of course just give an estimate.

I’m 36

I’m 60 years old.

To raise the average a bit right off the bat: I’m 66.

I’m 44. But that’s just the number—at heart, I’m waaaay younger. ☺☺

I’m 61, according to my ID. But I feel like I’m 40 at most ;)

Maybe I’ll manage to be the oldest participant? I’m 71.5 to be exact—smile—but my heart, mind, and knitting hands have stayed younger. -))) And the older I get, the wilder my imagination gets.....

I turned 45 yesterday.

I’m always 28 ;-) but my ID says I’m 48. So the question is, who’s right?

I have to admit, I’d have to do the math first (which I’d rather not do) ... it’d probably be somewhere in my early 30s ;-)

.... but that changes every year anyway! ;-)

I’m lowering the average a bit: 25 :) 

According to my birth certificate, I’m 49, but today I feel like I’m 94 ;-)

I’m just like Petra and Jana—I’m 69, but in my heart and mind I’m in my early 30s. If only it weren’t for these old bones……

I’m not a single day older than 18—it’s just that my ID says I’m 61

I think I fit in quite well age-wise. I’m 30i (once I hit 30, I continue with letters, hehe), so 39....

That's true, our bones are aging, but in our hearts we're all still young.

At heart, I still feel much younger.

Young at heart, too. I just flip the number around and feel like I’m 35. I look younger, too. I’ll probably never grow up—I’m always up for some silliness.

Grandma style: just 67 years young

I’m 53—that always surprises me because I don’t feel that old. Hmm, it just goes to show that time is relative.
I’ve noticed that knitting and crocheting seem to keep you young. Because everyone here sounds incredibly young—I think that’s just great.

So, at a “creaky” age. It creaks here, it creaks there.
As the saying goes, if your bones don’t ache in the morning, you’re no longer alive.

I’m 66

I’m 66, but I’ve been knitting since I was 6. There are also lots of young women and one young man in the knitting group. 

My niece once said to me, “You’re not even out of puberty yet…”
But my passport says otherwise… it says 55.

Yeah, I’m bringing down the average age! I’m 39.
I pretty much taught myself how to knit at the beginning of this year (2016).
I don’t knit clothes—at most, maybe a pair of pants for my youngest daughter’s teddy bear.
Otherwise, I knit figures you won’t find anywhere else: flowers, a cactus, a lighthouse (pattern available here at crazypatterns), little animals like hedgehogs and snakes—and food for my girls’ stuffed animals: A bale of straw, a bundle of hay, a head of cabbage, a jar of honey, a ham, a slice of meat, a sausage, a carrot.... so many ideas...

According to my ID, I’m 66, but it feels different depending on where it hurts.

I’m 28.

I’m 39 (still).

Then I’ll bring the average down again. I’m 35 years old.

I’m 62 years old.

I’ve been knitting and crocheting for over 40 years. I still enjoy it.
I can only confirm—this hobby keeps you young.
